  1. I do miss the plentiful square bodies 15-25 years ago. Had an opportunity to buy a REAL nice one back in Texas in '95. Was a navy blue '87 Silverado, regular cab, 2 wheel drive, long bed, TBI 350, 700R4 automatic overdrive, manual windows and locks but did have tilt and cruise, digital AM-FM stereo with cassette. Extra clean and like 80K on the clock. Chevy dealer wanted $5995 for it. I ended up getting an '87 Turbo 4-cylinder New Yorker instead for like $3700 from the Honda dealer instead. Definitely should've bought the truck.

  2. Great Episode Mortske…. those old square bodies were diehards. Love seeing MOJO In The Works…And Chin… and of course Duff…And of course The Legend Himself..
And as far as the brake light, here’s one of your answers. If anytime the pedal went to the floor because it bypassed, it would trip the brake light switch. And it stays on, until, and I can’t remember how …to un TripIt.
Thanks for your show Mortske.. you’re one of the best. Carry-on.

  3. I do wander if rubbing the steering wheel with goo gone would work I'm sure it's been tried but figured I'd toss out the suggestion just in case. Great vid!

Laughed till I lost my breath and almost passed out! You need to do a bloopers video, he'll if ya have enough you can do a top ten hosted by Puddin.

  5. Nice save as usual. Back in my time in the Army I had a 79 Buick Century wagon. I lost the key for it and was able to get a key to work one time. I learned the trick was always to shut the car off in gear and then put it in park. That kept me from turning off the ignition all the way. Drove it like that for 3 years before selling it.

  6. I would clean the steering wheel as possible then wrap twice with electrical tape. Cover with a good steering wheel cover. The tape helps to prevent the old rubber from seeping though the cover. Or just order a new one (about $250). I have not had success with cleaning them. They continue to rot to pieces.

  7. I used non-chlorinated brake cleaner and still am amazed at how instantly the stickiness was gone. Don’t know if the non-chlorinated makes a diff but it’s what I had on hand. That was a 80’s dakota wheel but had same sticky as GM. Try it! Lol.

  8. Another quality video by a quality guy. And a quality pup. Really loving how these videos are taking off. The little cutaways and mortske minutes are sweet. To clean those steering wheels try this stuff called Totally Awesome. They sell them in the dollar stores here. It took the goo off my dad's 72 Nova's wheel no problem.

  9. The Canadian Oshawa built truck had the 305 Quadra-jet , no emissions with a 700 -4R Transmission & were pretty reliable. I would rather have the 350 LM-1 but the 305 was more common.
