Your pylon turns are getting better. It would help if they put in the targeting HUD from the Spectre. Then you'd see why it's the most accurate gun platform in the air. One even took out a sniper during Just Cause with a direct hit from the 105. The only thing Rangers found of him was a boot and a rack of ribs.
Maybe y'all could take a bunch of gunship helicopters in? Although it would take them forever to get there

How about the spotter calling out the infantry position once the smoke is in place i.e. 150 ft North East of smoke.

Oh it was like shooting pigs in a barrel. The Vietcong never really evaded or returned as much fire as they would have. Plus there would have been more forest.
As an aside you sounded in your commentary very anti Vietcong and excited at killing them.

Can you have A1's in DCS?
It's a shame the AC-130 DCS model doesn't have the sideways-facing sighting system, but that would need a sensor team in the back of the aircraft. AC-130 are at their most effective when setting up a pylon turn at medium altitude and adjusting the circle radius dependent on the weapon system being used, rather than strafing from low level.
A CSAR mission like that would benefit from some A1 Skyraiders, slow enough to engage and re-engage within a very short space of time and tough enough to absorb a lot of the ground fire.
A dedicated airborne FAC should be calling the shots throughout, but that's just my hot take.

Back in the day (1987-ish) I was the targeting HUD display integration engineer on the AC-130H SOFI Update program at the Lockheed Ontario, CA facility. Visited the 1st SOS squadron at Hurlbert Airfield a couple of times. The H model Pave Spectre were amazing aircraft, and Deadly as hell. Great video Cap. Thanks to you and the Beautiful Boys!
