The year is 1954, the place, Rome, Italy. A football match was ground to a halt when unidentified flying objects were spotted above a stadium in Florence. The spectators were no longer watching the match, but were looking up at the sky, fingers pointing. The players stopped playing, the ball rolled to a stand-still.

While visiting my aunt in in Bolzano, Italy (1960) myself and over 100K other residents of the city witnessed an object ( looked like a meteor at first) come across the sky over our heads, then slowly dropped approximately 5000 feet, race around a mountain and shoot up and towards Austria all in about 30 seconds. That's when I became a believer.
It was a time machine travel back in time.

He described the craft over the stadium as being cigar shaped like a Cuban cigar. According to my research. There are 11 extraterrestrial races that pilot cigar shaped spacecraft. It's a bit unfortunate that in both cases Tuscany and Florence, the UFOs left trace evidence which couldn't be scientifically studied. There were quite a few UFO cases involving Angel hair during the 1950s (I also know of two other cases involving angel hair which happened even earlier. One was the 1561 celestial phenomenon over Nuremberg and the other one was the Miracle at Fatima on 13 September and 13 October 1917) , which as you said in this video disintegrates on contact.
But the one at Tuscany is quite unique, because of the silver glitter material that came from the object, even though the sample which was studied under spectrographic analysis didn't reveal anything conclusive and was destroyed in the process. It still should've been kept, because it would then prove that these UFOs left trace evidence behind.
In any event both Tuscany and Florence should be regarded as a close encounter of the second kind because they both left trace evidence behind, which sadly the scientific community no longer have
