When a community comes together to recreate the mountain top meeting by the starving leaders of Ireland in 1848. The Young Ireland group sought to stop the export of food and to lead a bloodless revolution under the new Irish Tricolour. But soon after the leaders like Thomas Francis Meagher were under sentence of death from the victorian regime. This last vision of hope led to decades of emigration to the New world and was carried by many in search of equal opportunity. The meeting was held on the Ancient tribal throne of the tuatha de Danann Tribe called Slievenamon or ‘the mountain of Women’ 175 years earlier. Ar Dhéis Dé go raibh a h-Anamacha dílís.
