CBSLA’s Lauren Pozen talked to residents who live near the strip mall that erupted in flames on Venice Boulevard near Robertson early Saturday morning. Seventeen cats died from smoke inhalation. Two were rescued.
I feel this one right in the gut. I'm going to remember to hold each one of my cats for a time today. If anyone knows the families of those who lost their animals I'm fostering some kittens now.
As someone who has worked in the animal care industry for decades this is a lawsuit, because there should’ve been a human being at that facility 24 hours a day so long as there’s a cat there. It doesn’t matter if they’re in a cage they still might have an emergency that needs immediate attention. There might be a fire for example… doesn’t LA have regulations stating that human beings must be present at all times with the animals in commercial boarding facilities?
Do not participate in this Cat go fund me those people are responsible for the death of 17 pets they were being paid an exorbitant amount of money to take care of, they should’ve been there making that money letting the cats out like Pee-wee Herman. Any money you donate to that go fund me will be used for their legal defense I bet you $1000 right now
Don't care much for cats but I do feel more sorrow for them and their owners than I do for those South LA thugs who get shot to death and their families.
Who cares about your fucking stores their little cats who passed away and got burned you have insurance that will take care of your stupid store so stop crying. Think about the poor cat they couldn’t get out. That’s why issue have insurance and hopefully for your own good you should’ve had some stop thinking about your stupid money.
