You use anything but aggressive and the torp wants "optimal" firing solutions and won't fire especially if you are in a hard turn. Don't believe me? Spend a few hours testing and see what I mean.

The reason for ships being damaged when they have evidently never fought you is the effects of naval mines.
So once your own ships run into minefields, your ships will be damaged to that extent as well.

Hey stealth quick tip for you, use standard ratio on warships.
I always assumed that ships coming into battle with damage either had a battle with another nation or hit mines. Not sure how often AI sends ships in for repair either.
Wow, I hope that your design of BC works. You just scrapped 2 Okinawas, which despite being glass canons, were taking the enemy apart with relish.
The BC Kita is like those ships that doesn't look that powerful but in the end it has the highest kill/dmg ratio of the entire campaign,
It would be nice to see the Kita surviving the entire campaign

26:25 BB Settsu actually has Anti-Flood III, not Anti-Flood I which is why it handled the flooding so well.
Alongside Anti-Torp II and Citadel III it makes it very hard to kill via torps.
settsus salvos are really sick
Supposedly 'Army Logistics' in the Politics screen helps determine how well the army preforms so it may be possible for smaller forces to defeat larger ones.
i just hope they will improve the why how we build and refit the ship, as for now it kinda not logic to have 2 blueprint, 1 for build and 1 after refit and the refit only able to refit the previous version. hope the will be in 1 blue print. that will be great QOL for the game.

I am currently at 1923 japan
Testing my 18 broadside -14.9inch mark 3 with zero weight offset and 6 casemate 8.9 inches 15+lengt with 16% chance of hit at 10km and 27inch penetration… I have sunk 2BB – 1BC
9 destroyers I was escorted by 3 light cruisers…
At 10km range y was striking 700damage average per reload (66sec)
The torp was from Kasuga if you look it closely. It torp its own allied.
Now build a new light cruiser.
