after watching the first game, i bet the series will be something like "P wins 1 game, then looses until the series are over, with maybe a few moments where it looks like P might win"
Protoss units are supposed to be insanely strong with unique abilities, yet, the strongest point of the race is the worst of out 3 races. Like when you talk AOE, Protoss is the only race that do not have guarantee damage. Storm requires an accurate hit, and the opponent does not move out of the way for the entire duration, same deal with disrupter shot, and the shot can be destroyed. Vs other what do we have ? Fungal – one accurate hit = 100% damage, no matter what. EMP – any units caught is 100% shield damage – both does not allow opponent to move out of the way when hit, cant be interrupted. Colossi used to be good, now they are just viking target practise lol. Tempest and Carrier are just jokes. You would think Tempest shot huge energy ball, it should be AOE ? Too bad. Carrier is just way too expensive to maintain, and Mothership is just literally a 400/400 resource throwaway

Terran is always one micro-mistake away from a loss. The AOE potential in Protos colossus/disruptor/storm is almost too much…

why do these pros stay on stalkers so long? I like to get to chargelot archon asap before ghosts and all in terran. Hero could have beat Maru when he was in the natural. What happened there? He threw away the colossi. He should have destroyed the natural. After destroying the natty, defend and trade evenly.

Protoss needs reworked but I know it’s not going to happen. Everything is so expensive and if u lose ur army it’s so hard to survive. Every single unit is valuable but yet still seems so useless.

When pushing across the map and winning how risky is it for protoss to use a recall on damaged archons? I hope that future protoss come up with cool uses of an aggressive recall in tandem with static shield batteries to restore the shields of damaged units.

In theory, the "freestyle" theme for map design was fun, but in practice, almost every map these days is terran-biased. I have a feeling we're going to see them be even more dominant this season, and that's just… not fun. I clicked on this video going "oh great, another protoss getting stomped by terran" and look, I was right. I love watching your casting style, but… idk, I might stop watching tvp because it's so one-sided so much of the time.
