How does a movie stay in the audience’s minds long after watching it? Fans of horror movies would have elements to describe that may be different from what fans of Sci-Fi would have to say about. To cater, specifically, to these elements that horror movie fans look for, AMC started its streaming service exclusively for horror, Shudder. Those ardent horror followers know that the genre itself isn’t homogenous, and Shudder explores this heterogeneity in the genre to create further sub-categories. We will explore 15 diverse and memorable movies sharing the common element of being disturbing more than being scary. The gory details of these movies stay in the minds long after giving a watch, keeping you disturbed. We would love you to give your opinions about memorable moments from these movies and tell us about the ones we missed and should have made the list. Let’s begin!

Actually, there’s one movie I’ve been looking for that I remember back when I was younger. It was about the Seven Deadly Sins, but it wasn’t like that crime thriller. No, this one had actual demons in it, and one of the demons was wrapped up in string like a butcher’s ham. The main protagonist was some kind of investigator, and in a flashback showed a possessed kid that set a barn or shack on fire. I remember the details but for the life of me I can’t remember the title. Maybe it was on Syfy? Spike? AMC? TNT?
