This is pretty out there but what if they aren't ships? We always ask why aliens never reveal themselves to us.. well maybe they have.. I mean if they developed elsewhere in the universe they wouldn't necessarily have to resemble us in form or shape.. The Aliens wanted us to keep them a secret but because of recent world events they will have to reveal themselves soon. They don't want us to destroy their planet anymore.

If we do ever discover another biologic entity or being behind these craft they have to be from here just like us. Otherwise they are advanced drone machines sent here by an even more advanced intelligence that is also biologic but also just as locked to their planetary system as we are!! Has to be drone if they are not from here. As an example all biological life on earth is regulated for reproduction by the sun and moon frequencies and the biological clock brought on naturally to us by this system here. As a result all reproduction is keyed to this system and only this sun and moon system. Women have an average 28 day cycle here on earth and men a 33 day cycle.Our heavenly bodies regulate this bio clock.
In ancient times when cultures like the Mayans watched the heavens the Shaman that did this would know when another, 'Infertility Cycle" was due and would tell his people to make many babies now because he would know from the last time this cycle came around with the sun that even the animals had trouble reproducing young let alone the humans. So imagine a couple of men and women on a space ship out there beyond pluto on their way to a new world. If they could even make it that far before all the occupants on board began to exhibit symptoms is debatable but if they did make it that far they would all be going nuts.
Let me explain. For women their menstrual cycles would at first become eratic and unpredictable and then they'd stop altogether having any menstrual cycle. Soon after the women on board would become mentally unstable as underground tests done in the 50's with women already proved but that is another tale. The men would eventually have to lock the women up for their own safety and the safety of the ship itself but it would only be a matter of time before the men went crazy as well so the idea of crazy people cloning is not viable. In the end reproduction to carry on our species beyond this planet is not going to happen. We are all geared to our planet and the bodies that regulate our time clocks and reproductive cycles and this would be the same for any biologic species on another world out there. I believe NASA knows that and has known it for some time. Musk is in for some reproductive surprises if he thinks he can just move women from here to Mars and expect them to still be able to reproduce children. Fertility and the health and well being issues of the human colony outside our own moon would likely kill the colony before it gets started.
Most of us simply wonder about these people, where they come from? what their history is? or if they know what our history really is? But what does the US do? Just wants to steal their technology and weaponize it.
We just need to get past the ice wall far South and furthest North.. Then we will see so much more, but we aren't allowed. So everything is just speculation until our overlords show us.
If an alien species is able to reach earth, the fact that they can reach us demonstrates how far more advanced they would be. We cannot get out of our own solar system. We do need something to shake us humans out of our center of the universe thinking an work together. We are just a spec of rock floating in endless space just waiting to be visited whether we want it or not.
