  1. Always wondered how to get into that room at the start, and it's good to know that it is actually possible! The slinger one after that blew my mind aswell. I don't even think that appears in the pop-up tutorial speech or the button guide; kinda weird how they never explicitely tell you about that.

Also bonus lore bit!!! The Serious Handler is actually a girlboss because she wasn't allowed to become a handler by her parents, but her sister encouraged her to do it anyways. Stuff like this, among other small but honestly pretty interesting details can be found when you meticulously skim through the dialogue of every single character after every major quest like me lol. It does make the game a lot slower to go through though; my rerun is currently at low rank Pukei-Pukei 😅

  2. One of my favorite things to do is ride on the back of Herbivores. Like, if you sit on top of Mosswine, (at least in the high rank Ancient Forest) it’ll walk around and occasionally dig up a Mandragora. An Aptonoth dug up an Adamant Seed for me, too. I also remember a Kelbi from the starting area of the Wildspire Wastes walking all the way into the forested area while I was riding it and digging something up. Don’t remember what it was, though.

  3. I have a headcanon that the 5th Fleet Master actually died during the Zorah incident in the opening cutscene and we're actually the most senior hunter in the 5th so leadership fell to us and that's why we get to be at all the council meetings and the like.

  4. For the quests that ask you to beat some bugs, I just bring some Poison Smoke Bomb (and materials to craft them on the spot) to quickly finish them. As a bonus, their corpses will still be intact so you can carve them.

  5. I love the Odie has a ball turf war…the first time I saw it i laughed so damn hard I almost got eaten by odie once the turf war had ended…I was in shock…he just looked so happy i could almost hear him thinking “BALL!!!”

  6. Btw Nergigantes purpose was to protect zorah, because it is believed that zorah was actually on its way to absorb/kill xeno. Thats why Nergigante never really attacked zorah if you think about it, only the hunters.

It was statet multiple times that Nergigante actually brings balance to the ecosystem much like we hunters do.

  7. I actually found #14 as I was trying to see if I am missing any NPCs I can talk to. I tend to talk to each NPC in the game at least once. Probably because there was a hidden mini-quest for the guild card way back in MHFU…

  8. I like to pretend that the meowscular chef is a palico version of long time White House head chef Andre Rush. Just absolute units and even if the food wasn't already delicious you best say it is.

  9. Fun fact, Rotten Vale is built off the corpses of at least I think 9 Dalamadur ancestors. There are two massive skulls, but people have found up to if not more then 9 tails scattered around the map.

  10. Hey, I am the original poster for the Odogaron jumping to the moon clip. You can even see my Sir Fluffington getting all the spotlight he deserves.
It is awesome to see how the clip exploded and got picked up by bigger channels but not even dropping the original posters name is pretty weak.

  11. Imma keep it real with you chief. After 900 hours of playing, the only things new here to me (apart from lore details like the Meowscular Chef being the Admiral's Palico which is awesome) was that those shiny blue rocks in the Veil were actually Dalamadura's meteors. I saw them before and always wondered what they were and why they stood out as so special. Now I know, and that's actually really cool to know that those things were once the meteorites that Dala would call down as an attack.
