Are you as hyped as we are? Because we're pretty hyped – Destin
So many false information in this video. If you don’t know the lore of Elden ring then don’t make a video like this…
Thank you for making a short video, and not a 3 hours long video of 3 minute trailer like some "content creators" on YouTube
Miyazaki has already stated the DLC is not in the past or future!
Also Dark Souls 2 has time travel in the Iron King DLC.

In the trailer of the DLC you can see Miquella's Ring in Messmer's finger. In the same finger too. Messmer is Miquella after he was corrupted going in the Lands of Shadow. Messmer's skinny length hands are very similar to Miquella's corpse in Mohg's area. Maybe he is a corrupted Miquella that found a way to grow older but with a cost? And then when you defeat him you send him free of that curse and lay the foundations for the future Elden Tree in the Lands Between? The final shot of the trailer looks like a grown up Miquella not a kid. Lands of Shadow is a memory of the past like in Sekiro through Buddha. Mark my words.
The entry to the DLC is through the hand of Miquella, it does not take place in the past and transports us to a map not connected to those of the base game.
Probably the worst theories around, you're not even trying to base it in the lore.
The DLC does not occur in the past according to an interview with Miyazaki:
Famitsu: So there have been many details just revealed, please let me ask more. You just mentioned Queen Marika's history, does this mean the DLC takes place in the past?
Miyazaki: No, it takes place in the same time as the main title. The setting is not in the distant past or future.
The shadow lands and Queen Marika's past will be told in the same manner as The Shattering was in the main title.
the hand was on the cocoon was messmer's… just a speculation
The man and lady are Mirkia and her husband she is pregnant, the girl in cathedral who sitting on chair are Rani mother when she was young , the small boy/girl im the end of video either Miklea or Godwyn , the knight in heavy armour is the same one we invade/Team up with early in his life , the knight with the mask are probably the all hearing when he was young we are in the past not in future this before the new golden area , the gaints and fire gaints did not defeated yet this the dragon time the boss in trailer had same eyes as dragons consumers or Godskins duo.
miquella gonna be pissed when he finds out we killed melania.
Currently have a frenzied flame ending playthrough and just wondering would it be possible to access the DLC even with this ending? Have not did radagon/elden beast but I'm locked in to do the frenzied flame. Thoughts?
Since its not a time travel DLC then Haligtree can't be both in state shown in the trailer and in the state we travel to it to fight Malenia.
That's Margot in the portrait. Gotta be
Hold up, Myzaki said the DLC was over 60gb.
Elden Ring base game is 51gb.
How big is this DLC really?
Not the past, but a parallel world
This IGN clown knows nothing
In case it hasn't been mentioned yet, Miyazaki had already mentioned in an interview that the DLC will be taking place in a new land concurrent with the events of the main game, and not using any sort of time travel.
Also Messmer's armor is reminiscent of the dragon right armor and his eyes are gold and slitted, like the players when partaking of dragon communion. The snake motif puts a spin on it, but the imagery he has in game seems to be more dragon based. Considering they're both lizards there might be an unexplored connection being made.
I'm waiting to hear a single hidden detail.
its not the haleg tree
What if messmerized is mogh if he wasn’t cursed
Crucible wings with no apparent staff or seal, maybe an ash or war or new method of casting?
probably accessing miquellas memories
No matter the content, IGN stay faithful to deliver us the premium puns
How much will the DLC cost?
No way that’s rennala
Now again have to practice all… for this dlc to complete more achievements to earn.
Lion Head boss looks like Morgot and Serosh got fused together. (They were defeated in the same area)
Would mesmer has a curse as well?
Did anyone notice the hidden massive tree that is in the sky? 😱
You Guy saw Messmer's Weapon?!
It's Mohgs Trident with only one tip, he wields the bloodflame and even has the black wings like Mohg! With the red hair, child-like facial faetures and the golden eyes, not to mention the fact that ALL children of Radagon and Marika are already known, there is only one conclusion: Messmer is Miquella once awoken from the egg. Mohg was indeed successful in his plan.
Miquella resurrects a new golden order at the end which will bring another DLC
Me : ….Wormface ….'So we meet again My Worst Enemy ' 🥲
in my opinion there are alternative versions of the major bosses of Elden Ring. The guy on the horse for example could be a alternative version of Rhadan.
Better get a lions head helm in this dlc
