I have a few people I want to express how I see it. Will Smith. Who thinks Smith was manipulated by Jada? I don't know much about her but, I get the impression she is arrogant, manipulative, demanding and never takes responsibility. She comes across as one of those divas who never blow up or show herself but, acts very smooth while being a viper. What Smith did to Chris Rock was wrong but, I think to black list him and punish him so severely is wrong as well. I do think he is a pretty nice guy in reality but, seems to be very manipulated by his wife.
Amber Herd made false accusations and was found to be guilty of this in court. Yet Depp is being punished by the movie execs and they for some reason cannot understand the verdict Not Guilty.
So why is Depp being punished? That makes no sense. Victim blaming?
He is a good actor and should not be punished for his ex-wife's lies.
While there are some actors mentioned here that deserve the black listing I think others should be given a chance to redeem themselves.
For one, Kevin Spacy so far has won his court cases. I wonder if this is a case of people going after someone because he is famous and was keeping his being gay a secret. I'm sure he has cruised around looking for pick ups but, I do wonder if he was in fact a predator of underage guys. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future.
Ellen has had a long running tv series and then a long running talk show without any hint of abuse or meanness. Suddenly 10 employees come out in social media accusing her. It makes me wonder if she was really the wicked witch or just fell down in checking out some complaints. It just strikes me as odd as how suddenly out of nowhere 10 people say she was abusive and yet not a wiff for all the years before. And of course the gossip media pounce without anyone really doing any shoe leather investigating into whether it was true or what was going on.
I also think the pouncing on Chrissy Teagan for behavior that took place in the past, far past when she was very young and stupid should have a heavy chain thrown around her neck as a bad person. I think this is something many very young people will do at times, act stupid, we need to give some space and understanding for a person growing up and maturing into a decent person at heart. I just think the Teagan thing is way overblown and she really should not be black listed.
As a disclaimer: I am not a celebrity person.These are people I don't see or watch. Only I saw Depp in the first Caribbean series. I thought he was fun. But, other then that I have not really seen these people. I am coming at this from just watching this video and seeing the accusations made and what was found out. I also believe in second chances for those who truly have been remorseful and are being kicked pretty hard. I hold my judgement on Spacy until the results of the other lawsuits are decided. If guilty he must to made to take responsibility. If innocent then people and the entertainment business must let it drop and he be exonerated.
