In this episode we take my original 37ā² Freeman to the boatyard to install a pair of new 425 hp Yamaha Outboards. We pull the old 350ās off and over a 17 day period show the progress. We also acid wash the inside of the hull, remove the wrap, and compound and wax the entire hull. I take you for swordfishing for a few minutes too, and then itās time to break in the motors and see how the boat performs with the upgraded motors.

How many times did you have to change out the harmonic balancers? Did Yamaha foot the bill?
Love the boat.
@stanzfam how you want for those motors?
3m eraser wheel for a drill will take all those small peices of wrap off with ease. Try that next time
Dude you needed a hair cut, next time pay for a full haircut š
Why not compound with a wool pad and rotary? Much more effective
Wow
Who would have thought we live in a time when outboard engines are light years out of reach to the blue collar American?
That dude with the beard and sunglasses hanging the motor, he'd never work on my boat. I don't know what you pay these scrubs, but this operation looks like amateurs!
If you look after your motors, that is not a lot of hours. They are designed for a lot more.
Peeling off vinyl wrap looks like a job they give out in hell.
Why Yammies and not Merc's?
Nice video. Do you flush motors with fresh water after every use?
Iād like to know because you seem to get a heap of hours from your motors
Thanks
I feel bad for who ever ends up with those two dogs
That's your first 37 foot boat you had 4 motors now there's 2 ?
SWEEEEET!!!! Nice job brother…. Those engines are amazing!!! šÆšÆšÆšÆšÆšÆšÆšÆšÆā„ļøš
Wow, super video ! I like seeing the details on removing the wrap, repairing, repowering, and updating the boat. Excellent !
How much you want for the engines?
man the sound of those outboards are lovely
Check out the Flushmaster for those new 425ās
Papa hi u doing my friend how much u selling the twin 300 ?
we don't use impact guns when installing the transom screws. too easy
to either over or under torque, damaging the transom. manual should say what they like, but usually 40ft/lbs.
Have you seen or looked into those new props designed recently ?? Theyre expensive but save alot on gas !! N tested to perform better.. look them up on youtube nick!!
Must be nice
