Staunch Moderates is a grass roots intellectual movement that was founded in Aspen as a single-purpose initiative to address the political divisiveness in society, and now Coronavirus! The goal of our movement is NOT to pitch you any particular political party or candidate, nor try to convince you to back any specific issue. It is to offer an unbiased and open platform to generate and inject much needed civil discourse into the political discussions facing our democracy – not just about our polarized divide, but also now the COVID-19 outbreak. We, Staunch Moderates, promote civil discourse in order to discover where we have common ground and how we can accomplish society’s vital goals, currently survival for each and every one of us!
Staunch Moderates was founded by Aspen residents Greg Simmons and Bo Persiko, longtime friends and devoted advocates for civil discourse within our political landscape.
Greg Simmons – Active member of the Aspen community with entrepreneurial interests in real estate, the entertainment business and politics.
