Malaria was discovered in 1880, and slavory had ended in the US by 1865, so there were no people buying malaria resistant slaves for hogher money, not in the US, and no one knew what malaria was, or what resistance was, so the idea of marketing something for a higher dollar that literally no one knew about, did not happen
