  1. Lee, Texas has three of the most amazing theaters in the world, you are at #One ; the Majestic in San Antonio;; pretty cool;; then #Two; also the Majestic but in Dallas, which looks at lot like the one in San Antonio;;; THEN there is #Three , the PLAZA theater in El Paso (my home town) with beautiful curtain lined entree way, magnificent Organ that rises out of the footing and stunning overhead outdoor like ceiling with clouds and blinking lights/stars,,, I guess this one has always been my favorite because remember going there as a kid, 70 years ago, for Saturday morning cartoons, check it out, Al Berroteran, Garland Texas

  2. Hey Leland… How's Sponarski doing? Give my regards and condolences to the Mule Herder… At least he's in ol' San Antone, the city of St. Anthony of Padua the patron of horses, lower animals, and sick people.

  3. The interiour of the theatre reminds me a little bit of Schloss Neuschwanstein here in Germany. And i will miss your videos showing these venues. But it is better to miss something good then to be bothered by bad things. Hope i Said it right.
So, Lee enjoy the tour til the end and get healthy home.

  4. That venue reminds me a lot of the Palace Theater here in Louisville. Very similar. I've been to the Palace many times over the years and I'm still always amazed at it's beauty as well.

  5. Each time I see a show at The Majestic I make sure to spend some time stargazing at the ceiling which accurately depicts the current constellations visible on the night of that show. Last night I spotted Cassiopeia.

  6. The old Ambassador theatre in, downtown St Louis, was of the same eclectic style as the one there in San Antonio. It was demolished several decades ago but before they did my wife and I attended an auction of the contents. We bought many light fixtures and plaster decor items that are really fun. But the main piece is an ornate 8’ tall leaded mirror that hung in the ladies powder room. It now resides at the top of the stairs of our 105 year old home!

  7. Hey there Leland! Quite an amazing theater. Thank you for all of these amazing venue tours. It has really been fascinating. I am really going to miss these after the whole Lyle Big Band tour is over. Thank you again Leland for taking us (the YouTube viewers) with you. 🙏👍
