I always found this issue to contain a very ironic title: "Devil to the rescue" It kinda makes a callout to the short story of the Red, Black and White volume "Devil's Advocate" when a the mob lawyer Hunter forces into servitude gets attacked by his enemies so Grendel comes and kills them, saving him in the process. What was the quote? Oh:
"A circle of steel pressed against my temple. And I prayed. Prayed for the devil to save my soulless skin.
And, Oh, dark miracle…the devil heard my prayer"
