They made a live action remake in the 90's with Glenn Close as Cruella DeVille and it was ok, but the cartoon is better, and that one got a pretty much forgettable sequel which I never saw.
In 2021 they made a Cruella DeVille prequel with Emma Stone called Cruella.
I didn't saw it either, but I think it's in the same style as the Maleficent movie, because I highly doubt they made the movie in the same style as The Joker movie. And If so, why?! Why turn an animal killer into an antihero?! Because that's what Cruella actually is, she's willing to have an animal killed just to get their fur and turn it into furcoats! With Maleficent I can kinda see it work, but with Cruella DeVille, not really!
And apparently they're gonna make a sequel to the Cruella movie… If you wanna watch them, that is up to you, Dasha.
Disney actually made a movie about Cruella!
I vote "Do not watch the remake"!
I thought for a minute she was goin do the live one
And you were worried about the quality of the animation 😂 Old Disney animation were true works of art and they spent so my hundreds or thousands of hours in research
101 Dalmatians with Glenn Close is my favourite live action from animation. And her car oh man you gotta see it to believe it.
My favorite thing about this movie has always been seeing all the animals coming together to save the puppies!
"Pupsicle" 😊
I only ever owned one dog and she was a Dalmation, I was in first grade and I named her "Dottie".
Have you watached Enemy at the gates yet? It's a great film set in Stalingrad during World War II. Im American and i thought it was a really good film.
Keep up the great work Dasha!
When the dogs roll in ash, does that count as blackface?😂 It was also a little weird that when they came back home covered in ash (black) the owner immediately starts singing about putting them on a plantation.😂
2024 Movie Critics: CANCEL PONGO for doing BlackFace!!!
Wow, I haven't seen this since I was VERY young, I forgot how adorable it is
Watching this makes me worry about myself. I have the urge to take care of Dasha like she is one of my little sisters. Can't help it. (only 4 younger brothers but LOTS of sisters)
That moment when one puppie didn't born alive, that really hits me as a adult, because few years ago I had tibetanspaniel with my ex-wife, and when that tibetanspaniel got 2 puppies, one was born alive and another was born dead.
We tried to give CPR, but it didn't work. Few days after that my wife called me when she find out another puppy doesn't breathe. We tried everything but nothing helped. And that happen in Christmas.
To be honest, when I was a kid this movie was very scary to me. Just because of Cruella. Not only she is very aggressive, but she also want to kill little puppies. ☠️
Jesus….😨
Check out The Terminal (2004) so beautiful 😭
I swear, the third act of this movie has more tension than most modern thrillers. 😂
Yes, a movie that could easily be penalized for unnecessary cuteness.
I love how Dasha was immediately into the movie …….. and not caring that animation back then was 1000 times better.
I used to have the VHS cassette of this movie. I'm not sure how many times I watched it as a kid, but I still enjoyed it every time.
My mother read this book to my brother and I when we were young, I had never seen the movie but your reaction was so sweet
The van driver is hardcore for stopping Cruella
Disney, in its heyday, produced some of the finest quality animation ever made. And it was all done by hand, by people who loved what they were doing.
I remember watching this in the theater as a kid when it got a re-release in the late eighties. I think it's one of old Disney's best.
