  1. I am going to be honest with you, in my own humble opinion without being sentimental of course, without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter from a distinctive perspective, I would like to say I have nothing to say.

  2. First you have to believe we evolved from monkeys – And to date there is NO evidence that anything has evolved from one thing to another – There is a devolve like dogs losing chromosomes wolf to poodle – But not one thing has been proven to evolve from one thing to a new thing. As close as you will get is the metamorphosis caterpillar to butterfly – But it will always be that never a caterpillar to a fish or a dog or anything else . We did not come from monkeys .. sorry .JMO Lol prove me wrong and you will go down in history . Prof Allright

  3. There's one part to the story that I miss: when a person shouldn't eat, and for how long. In other words: (intermediate) fasting. That'd be a great addition to have a full picture on diet and health.

  4. Min 32:29 shows life expectancy by country… But Spain today has 28% smokers compared to 19% in Japan. Japan shows an slightly better life expectancy than Spain, but if we could remove the effect of tobaco and other (like perhaps more advanced health care in Japan) then we would see better the true positive effect of mediterranean diet. Anyway today Spain has a lot of junk food consumption, Mediterranean diet reference should be what was eaten in the mediterranean area several decades ago, because today many Med people are also in the same crash course than the US: lots of junk food and sedentarism causing severe overweight followed by all kinds of problems in the health (IR, CVD, cancer), of course US is the leading runner in that, but almost all planet is in the same nasty path. It's time to shift path.

  5. LET ME SUMMARIES [before I watch] stop eating processed food, especially sugar – increase fats, eat a very varied diet of natural products…

[Im cheating my sister has a PhD in Neutrition] The reason you feel better on paleo, or keto, or vegan, or vegi is NOT the diet itself – its what you are CUTTING OUT. The processed junk. If you stay on a restrictive diet too long you will lose gut microbiome and start to put weight back on / feel a bit crap. 905 of serotonin is made in the gut. FEED your bacteria – keep them happy

  6. LIFE EXPECTANCY was at it lowest in the middle of the Industrial Revolution – and we have NOT gotten healthier so much as we have gotten better at keeping UNHEALTHY people alive for longer with amazing medicine…

Most people in the West still eat a diet and live a sedentary life that would have them unalive by 45 – we are NOT healthy people, we are highly medicated people.

  7. just make sure you start every meal with a serving of vegetables to slow the release of whatever proteins, fats & carbs you eat afterwards, no waiting needed, its like adding another layer of filtering to your intestine, prevents carbs from just invading your bloodstream immediately and keeps you full for about twice as long

  9. I was afraid this video was going to take a hard left turn but you did a decent job. However, the best way to live as a human being is the carnivore diet. Most vegetables are totally useless and a waste of time and energy. To those who disagree, please do some research and then post your comments. The carnivore diet is the proper human diet

  10. Being on a long term ketogenic diet that's very low carb, high animal fat, for adjunct treatment alongside cancer meds, I can say that my blood markers are always in the green and my immune system at its best, thanks to a satisfactory gut biome. No, I find that for me, carbs are not necessary once adapted and 20 gm a day is more than I need to train daily at the gym, my energy coming from burning fats and dietary protein and thus producing my needed high ketone levels.
But, as he says, we are all different.

  11. Uhm . . . no. You need to limit carbs. That much is proven. If you eat what you want, without regard to balancing carbs to activities, you will become insulin resistent. That's a fact.

  12. Avoid all processed oil but definitely eat the olive. It's too concentrated regardless if it's organic, GMO or extracted with harsh chemicals used in all items in all restaurants and put in All packaged food. Dr fuhrman discuss this and don't add salt, any kind. It's already in the food and is corrosive to the blood vessels. Can cause hemorogic strokes. Asians have the most. Americans get most ischemic
