  1. I think this video served as a great look back on Minecraft’s history but ultimately I think the challenge aspect just wasn’t there for it to be interesting enough to me.

    I feel like you wasted a ton of time just building a bridge for no reason. Would’ve been cooler if you had an actual goal like mining a certain number of diamonds or taking the definition of “survived 100 days” literally and you’d have to reset every time you died.

    I would’ve liked to have seen some better buildings. You built a lot of floors but you didn’t build any rooms or do anything unique other than 4 walls a ceiling and a floor. If you weren’t going to do anything decorative than I think you should’ve done something efficient like building larger farms earlier on or doing things that didn’t work in one update because you know a future update was coming.

    I also would’ve liked to seen some exploits shown off. Like the triple-chest-glitch that was possible in Alpha versions of Minecraft would’ve been really cool to be showcased.

    But you didn’t do any of those things. I feel like your time would’ve been better spent making a “history of alpha versions of Minecraft” video rather than showing footage of you just playing the game and talking over it.

  3. 4:38 I played through the infdev/alpha days and I remember when Notch added slimes they could break your world because they spawned way too often and made the game grind to a halt. The playerbase was so small at the time that he was actually offering to manually fix peoples world files before the fix was released!!

  5. Before you comment, please read this:

    These are some common things I see in my comment feed.

    1. Why bridge?
    A: I was making the bridge to hopefully show off the different versions throughout my world, and the changes.

    2. Why did he not show his builds?
    A: I did not think about that during production of this video. I made up for it by showing this part of the world in the Beta versions video. Please stop commenting about this, I couldn't even change it even if I wanted to.

    3. To the people who comment "When are you going to make another 100 Days?" on other videos that are not 100 days (or plan to do this).
    A: I am making one. I have a post on my community tab that tells more information. Please stop posting that question on other videos specifically. Going to other videos and commenting it won't change anything. (I don't care if you comment that on this video or any other 100 days videos I've made but if you do want to know more, please read the post)

    I'm making this comment so it can hopefully answer some people's questions and clear up some confusion. 🙂

  9. I’ve been playing for 12 years – since Alpha 1.0.17_04. I was 15 at the time. I remember the ‘Halloween Update’ vividly – my first trip to the Nether, hearing the Ghasts cry through the walls as I was digging and it was terrifying 😂

  16. Man I remember being like 6-7 and watching my brother play earlyyyyyyy additions of Minecraft finally – I got an Xbox 360 when I was like 9 and shoot man I was so happy I only had Minecraft so I basically just played that non stop

  19. Man.. i remember playing minecraft xbox 360/xbox 1 edition from like 2016-maybe 2020, and the thrill of seeing the yellow update dot next to the"What's New" tab was an invitation for new adventures with my friends :')
