One thing I really don't like about elden ring is the stat page. I've been spoiled by the stat page from DS2. Elden ring is great but I really wish I could see my characters bleed poison fire damage bonus ect..
Flail is hella good though, maybe not the weapon art, but any weapon with bleed is extremely strong anyway. Besides, flails are easily S tier on horse
0:54 you can continue the flails special attack with heavy attack and light attack,ther are other 2 attacks for it
The staff of the guilty is meant for clerics, not mages.

The flail is actually very underrated imo.
It’s a really good backup for slash resistant enemies. It has passive bleed and can do a decent job at poise/posture breaking for a critical. At the very least I’d recommend it for a new character early game if you’re putting some stats into dex.
I dissagree with the tortch, it has a special move that thorws fire, it can be used against those poisonous plants or those sticky blobs, is super effective.
The flail is pretty terrible; but I like to hang on to one to get those invisible scarabs. They run around pretty quick, so it's a lot easier to just stand in their path and spin your flail until they run into it.
I give you a week before people start finishing the game with every weapon on this list.
Use the tourch against the hands in Carian Manor, thank me later. 😏

these items are for lore dumps , item collecting and youtubers to say " I am going to beat the game with X equipped".
Bunch of torches in the game other than lantern that all do different effects so sometimes they're handy if you don't have something with the desired effect having a torch in the off hand is decent still as long as it's not the normal torch
staff of the guilty is mostly for briars of skin
Great Serpent Hunter is pretty good. It has very good str scaling and its moveset is really good. It can basically poke from normal attack like a spear, but can also poke from roll attack like Greatsword.
Torch against those annoying poison flowers useful if you arent flinging fireballs
The moment you bashed the flail is the moment I doubted this video by no means is the flail the best weapon in the game but that bleed effect with the spin and staggering makes it so damn useful at a low level
The torch will light the miners packs on fire and they explode.
Ehem… Staff of Guilty – one of the worst?))). That’s fun. Thorns magic spells requires FAITH as requirements so… Staff of Guilty. Even passive skill of this staff says “USE IT FOR THE THORNS SPELLS!”. And a second thing about this staff. It is obviously can be used to cast some low-lvl magic by faith builds. And with FAITH scaling spells do some MAGICAL damage if it needed for faith users.
the only reason you'd get a torch if at all is to temporally light up dungeons till you find a merchant that has a lantern to buy.
Flail is actually a good (backup) weapon. It can break poise. It can strike those crystal and other hard skins. It can proc bleed. It can be imbued with element enchantment magic/item.
