I still remember then the local Toys R Us was DESPERATE to clear out the Virtual Boy system for like $30!
Flappy Bird – I didn't have a smart phone, so I never played the original game. I've played clones of it though and I don't see the appeal at all. I usually manage about 30 seconds before I get disgusted with it and turn it off.
Oh wow, with Flappy Bird, I had heard it was a takedown from Nintendo from using their assets, wild.
Eidos destroyed Core by forcing Tombraider 6 Angel of Darkness to be released for sale to the public a full year before the game was ready. Honestly you know a game is doomed if you can't get Lara to climb on top of a 5 foot high crate 💃
FF 14 was indeed a Colossal dumpster 🔥 fire and just like Eidos the corporate suits running Square Enix at the time had never played a video game in their life..
Can't help but roll my eyes at the tombraider one.
Nintendo mocked the Virtual Boy in Luigi’s Mansion 3. E. Gadd gives Luigi a Virtual Boy to communicate with Luigi remotely, and he says something along the lines of “They’ll fly off the shelves once I finish marketing”. This is obvious sarcasm.
Ah the virtual boy.
Just thinking about it makes my eyes hurt
I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a Devil May Cry 2 Remake. It could fix all the issues and actually make it fun.
I was surprised Katamari Damacy wasn't on the list. It isn't that the creator hated his original creation, but he called out Namco on milking franchises, and that is exactly what they did with his art.
I remember getting a virtual boy for my birthday or Christmas; I was so excited. I put it together, played for a few hours, and started having dizzy spells which led to micro seizures.
It was returned the next day.
How much does Nintendo apparently hate the Virtual Boy? They didn't even bother with a VB "Virtual Console" for 3DS even though it would have been the perfect platform, and a great way to bring back the handful of actual good VB games.
Never Forget
"Nightmare" – Yoshi-P
Please make "games like Conker's bad fur day" Video❤
I heard somewhere that Shinji Mikami was trusted to make Resident Evil because he hates getting scared and they saw that as having the right reaction to the horror genre
Volition hates the Saints Row franchise, the reboot and their statements about older games.
I would like to play Wario Land VB on the go.
playing the dmc 2 remaster a couple of year ago I was thinking ppl and developers play tested this did no one say anything?
Crystal dynamics brought baggage of their own. They hated Lara as she was, and had to change her. Alienating legions of classic fans for a new Lara who, whilst she has her fans, is nowhere near as popular.
I’ve beaten Spec Ops: The Line and didn’t even know it had a multiplayer mode until I watched this video…
It doesn't matter how often I hear your positivity. You're like an old blanket that still feels like a hug, no matter whether you need one or not. You sir are also a Massive Ledge.
That last entry bothers me a little, there is always something possitive you can do with fame, success and money. Sounds like a silly bhudist fanatic to me.
Ubisoft clearly hate my boys Rayman and Prince of Persia.
