  1. Thank you for breaking the cycle of including the inevitable mention of feces throwing during the very over-used example of the ape fight in sekiro in so many videos. Only thing left is to break the cycle of mentioning the ape fight in sekiro in so many, many videos. I haven't even played the game and yet i feel like i have, and somehow this boss is the only one worth mention in any video. Btw, he throws feces at you, because he/she/it is an ape.

  2. God of War Ragnarök. When you fight Thor, you mash a button to fend off Thor but, he ends up knocking out Kratos with Mjolnir causing the Game over screen to pop up. Thor revives Kratos after saying "Oh, no I say when we're done!"

  3. In Psy-Ops, you get psychic abilities such as telekinesis and mind control which allow you to dispatch enemies and get though levels in unique ways. By the time you reach the final levels, all of the enemies are replaced with variants that are immune to mind control and can't be grabbed with telekinisis, making both powers largely useless.

  4. In the MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot there is a fight in one the dungeons called Death. When it appears it says that it is immune to all types of damage but mentions that Clerics, the healer class in the Albion faction, can hurt it. If any other class hits Death it will immediately heal to full health.

  5. Grym in Baldur's Gate 3 was… a non-issue for me. I ended up killing it pretty easily and got the achievement for not smashing it with the forge hammer during the fight. I didn't know it was supposed to be anything special or difficult.

  6. On my second playthrough of The last of us 2, I filled the entire path leading from the room the NPCs run out from to the crafting table with explosives. Got done crafting and turned around to puddles and chunks. It was glorious.

  7. Would Kingdom Hearts 1 Hollow Bastion be considered? You lose your keyblade at the start of the world and have to rely on Beast to fight the Heartless because the wooden sword you're stuck with cannot damage them

  8. Noble 6 isn't a rookie. They are one of the few people that are considered too dangerous to mess with. There are so few people that Master Chief is the only other known one to be in the same category. Noble 6 was known to be a lone wolf that completed missions by themselves. This is stuff said in the opening cutscene. WhatCulture, do better.

  9. i hated that the thief series insisted on bringing in mechanical or magical enemies in the later parts. except for the rather recent reboot i played those games up to the introduction of such enemies and then just stopped

  10. Crysis 1 aliens is the worst part of the game. Good that its literally the end of it…
I remember when i struggled to leave that alien ship and had no idea where the exit was… had to use YT for it lol.
Good that they made aliens actually interesting in both Crysis 2 and 3 but still fighting humans was better.

  11. At the time it was introduced, Valithria Dreamwalker was the only fight where the boss needed to be healed. However, there are many fights that break this norm now.

Tsulong in Terrace of Eternal Spring
    Kael'Thas in Castle Nathria

And then several other fights where there are boss mechanics that require healing non-players.

  12. For some reason, I'm thinking of some area in FF9 (I feel like it was an upside-down castle) where the better your equipment was when you went in there, the more you got wrecked. But if you went and bought all starter equipment and went back in there, you were an absolute beast. So it made you think "is this going to come back at the worst point in the future??"

  13. Grym’s not impossible. But it does change the rules. You can use the forge itself to bludgeon it, but you have to coax it into the way of the “hammer” which is very difficult to do too
