Beating mike Tyson, yea Iβm that old
Crossing the line in Brazil in F1 2020 to become F1 World Champion.
Gaming was better when the consoles weren't unbelievably expensive and I didn't need Internet to play and it wasn't full of cash grabs
lol, Prez Rump and Vance the creep
served up aome E. Coli at McDonalds that Day. you think he washes his hand when he grabs some pssy or takes a golden shower.
But in Resident Evil 4, everything that happens after was better, so yes, it could get better. It got better in that same game.
I think Rdr2 is much more Rockstarβs magnum opus, than rdr1
As someone that grew up with Atari..then Nintendo.. PlayStation and so on its just crazy to see how far gaming has come and the best yet to come…
I missed the giraffe scene it TloU! I just did my first playthrough a month ago and I was off looking for materials when the scene happened and I didnt realize π
I saw the thumbnail and then the title, and I thought, βThatβs not Halo CE. Thatβs the only good Halo game. Wtf is this video about?β Thatβs it. Iβm about to watch it, but I feel that itβs important for everyone to know that the only good Halo game is the first one. At least campaign mode wise.
The intro to Tears of the Kingdom was absolutely perfect. That alone was a 10/10.
Mine was getting the Highwind in FFVII
Hate resi evil 4. I want surivial horror not an action shooter
There are 16 Colossi in Shadow of the Colossus, not 6…
The story's I'm gonna tell my grandkids when they ask me about games in my era
Oldie but goodie, choosing your first starter Pokemon in Red/Blue
For me it was diving after Zelda at the END of TotK. It was such an incredible full circle moment going all the way back to the prologue, the surprise of Nintendo handing the control BACK to you so you can get that satisfaction YOURSELF, all combined with the MUSIC that plays through the whole sequence? I was in tears, no pun intended. What an incredible ending.
The way WCG talks about Shadow of the Colossus makes it seem like I'm the only person on the planet who doesn't like that game.
Maybe its just cause I'm an older gamer now at 31 years old but I could imagine TONS of other game moments where I thought it couldn't get any better. Final Fantasy as a series deserves a honorable mention. There was a good long period where every new mainline release would make you go "This can't get any better" just for you to be proven wrong over and over again. The intros alone for FF7 to FF10 were chefs kiss I can understand from a gameplay standpoint it won't make everybody feel that way but from a cinematic standpoint the franchise is and always has been on an other level. I would argue that some entries also have some of the greatest storytelling and character/world building in gaming.
Top 10 views in gaming that made you go Woah Could easily have a part 2 and 3
Parallel reality mission in Titanfall 2, the return of Blades of Chaos in GoW 2018, overriding a Sunwing in HFW, and almost everything in CP2077: Phantom Liberty.
SMB2 isnt just a reskin if DDP. They added things and animations plus levels
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater was the first time that I actually shed a tear over a video game like no joke somebody was seriously cutting onions around me
Storming Omaha Beach in MOHAA.
When V rode into the horizon with Panam.
I rode into Mexico at night in RDR. The moment might have transcended any, for me, in any medium. Without hyperbole, I think it changed me as a gamer and a person.
I would argue that H3's ending was great, but Reach's was perfect.
See, I personally don't think snake killed the boss. The game is a simulation and doing certain things causes a game over, a time paradox, etc. If snake officially had to kill her, then you do so in game. But unofficially, what if she lived her death was accepted since snake returns, gets to become the new big boss snake and the world keeps spinning. She can retire, do whatever, right? The world none-the-wiser.
Love how we haven't seen that cringe ass loser since he was praising the ps5 pro acting like a fanboy and everyone in the comments was ruining him
Fallout 3 – Stepping out of the vault
As a lifelong Nintendo fan, I'm not ashamed to admit that I openly SOBBED during the New Donk City sequence. It was so beautiful.
Some of my personal favorite moments in gaming:
Doom Eternal: Opening Sequence. Hearing the people of Earth screaming for help over comms while the Slayer watches on with zero empathy. The music building as he calmly readies his gear and the portal opens. It's pure cinematic build up as he pumps the shotgun and walks through the portal.
Homeworld: watching Kharak burning as your mothership sits in orbit, attempting to rescue the last few thousand survivors of your planet. It was that one moment that made homeworld great.
Final Fantasy 6: Kefka wins. Half way through the game, the big bad, actually accomplishing his goal, bringing the world to ruin.
Witcher 3 Blood and Wine: The ending, after the ceremony. I played the expansion after having cleared the main game. That ending moment sitting quietly at a campfire with Regis waiting for the dawn, reminiscing and speaking of plans for the future. The final line of "After all that toil, I feel that we deserve a bit of a rest". It was a moment of finality for me, that the story really was complete.
World of Warcraft: Back almost 20 years ago (I'm old, sue me), doing 40man raids and spawning Ragnaros in Molten Core for the first time (and dying shortly thereafter). That was a memory.
CoD 4: Modern Warfare. When the nuke goes off and your helicopter goes down. That moment of your character crawling out of the wreckage, staggering around the decimated city before finally dying and a real shock moment.
Black Myth Wukong: The intro. What a way to start a game.
Mass Effect 2: The suicide mission. In one of the few moments where your choices and prep throughout the game actually matter, that suicide mission. From the driving music, each part of the mission playing out differently depending on what you'd done in preparation for it. It was the moment the entire game was building to. Shame about the final boss which came afterward.
Bioshock: The "Would you kindly" reveal. Enough said there.
And as a final mention for my 80's self: FarCry Blood Dragon: Riding the battle dragon. The ridiculous dialogue, the over the top action, the pure 80's synth and one liners. It was as awesome piece of nostalgia for me.
Itβs Mario, not Merry-Oh π€·π»ββοΈππ€¦π»ββοΈ
Shout out to Pro Evolution Soccer 6. An absolute pinnacle of perfection as far as football games go.
Julian, do you enjoy that you are crushing my soul, my very existence? Why you enjoy not making a delightful video on flash games. Why do you hate us?
