When writing the story of your life, don’t let anyone else hold the pen.
I think terraria is kinda considered a survival game but at the same time it's not. But if it was fully a survival game I would have put it at number one or two since hardcore master mode( very hard to most veterans, and instant death )
Honestly, I didnt find The Forest too difficult, literally build the flintlock and mutants are literally 2 shot kills
I'd have to say that raft should be on here
Evil within is so good. Not sure if it counts a horror survival game but who cares

dayZ and rust are by far the best . they may have their negative sides but in general these two games besides minecraft are the foundation and inspiration to many other survival games . ( unturned , ark , h1z1 , etc)
If u count the Resident Evil games then those can be difficult and also terraria
Minecraft , days gone, metro redux and metro exodus are my at least favorite survival games 🎮
The forest is meh single player, but multiplayer is a different story since difficulty ramps up based on number of players and how many structures are built (aka heat) so that flintlock will not be so helpful then lol
The forest and Stranded Deep are my favourites. I didn’t find them that hard
You should include hunt showdown. It's kinda similar to tarkov but with monsters
I'm surprised Ark isn't on here, half the time I cant stay alive more then 10-15 mins before a damn raptor finds me, or one of those damn giant chicken raptors just obliterates my shack with me within it like some prehistoric kinder egg.

Green hell and Rust and were by far the hardest but the forest was the most brutal not in difficulty sense just all-around the gameplay was brutal

Crazy how the first thing in this video I see is dayz lol. I died from climbing down a latter and didn't have gloves on so my hands bled too much.
honestly i don't think forest is that hard as long as you stay on your toes and get good base and weapons going

Forest is the goat, Green Hell is well.. literally hell and Stranded Deep is a mix between Green Hell and The Forest and I highly recommend it on the Nintendo Switch.
DayZ if by far my most played survival game. So many memories and friends
I think dayz should at least be in #3 in front of rust because rust is pretty easy and you can just response in your base but in dayz on the other hand you lose 3+ hours of progression and just need to start again if you don’t have a base
