NYC is the only city in America offering a complex transportation infrastructure. There are subways and buses throughout the city, and trains connected upstate and neighboring states to Manhattan. With soaring gasoline prices and to reduce carbon footprints, people should live in big apple take advantage of mass transit. In addition, the condos in the city are 20% cheaper compared to LA, San Francisco. Why drive an hour to shop or to visit a doctor? Everything you need is within walking distance in NYC.

The solution for most of these problems is to STOP voting for democrats lowering your expectations for changing the weather ! In the real world there are more important things than SJW issues.
Inflation hits people a lot harder than a crashing stock or housing market as it directly affects people's cost of living that people immediately feel the impact of. It's not surprising negative market sentiment is so high now. These are unprecedented times where 9 trillion dollars was pumped in to the economy and now we're paying the piper.
Lol…most of your states on the list you say is costing people from like $6000 to $9000 more a year…imagine how much it effects us retired people like me that only make $12000 an year on S.S.

Inflation: not to be confused with recession, which is two consecutive quarters of negative growth like here in the US.
Im surprised Tennessee is not on here because we have a 10% sales tax which also applies to groceries (yes we are one of the few states that tax groceries). The upside of course is no sales tax, low property tax, and cheap car registration (we don't have car property tax like many other southern states do)
Funny how its all republican lead states but California, and you stated that California's issues steam from other reasons then the rest.
