Why show disasters happening in these shit hole countries? The whole country could be destroyed and it do less than $100 in damages. Show Americans and countries that have a significant amount to lose. Nobody cares about those shit holes, all I can say is that’s mother nature replenishing the land for a new start, to get rid of all the garbage put there by subpar humans.
I live in Puerto Rico, and I went through both Maria and Fiona. Fiona created more major flooding than Maria, I mean all the rain didn't stopped because Fiona was moving very slow, comparing to Maria. It was 2 days of heavy rainfall, and it didn't stop coming, the pictures I saw was unbelievable, some areas that never got flooded, Fiona changed that, the river near me, it overflow and got out of its riverbed, something that Maria never did. This was literally an Hortense 1996 repeat.
There is a couple who live in the West Country of England and they got so fed up of being flooded, that they rebuilt their house, so they could live upstair, like people do in Venice. Maybe people in flood prone areas, should build houses on stilts or live upstairs in a two storey building. Getting flooded out all the time, must be so awful. My late father when he brought our house, decided not to buy one near the local canal, and brought one on a hillock, behind a large hill, well away from a water course. Folks we all need to rethink, how and where we built, in a world with weather, that's getting wierder all the time.
I live about 30 min from Pescadero and the land slide was the result of intense rain over an area that is still recovering from dry lightning wildfires a couple of years ago.

Stop posting the video of the bridge of puerto rico. Im from that town. And that bridge wwas a temporary bridge they build after hurricane maria. It cost almost 20 milion dollars. It fell because the builders did a horrible job. Very simple. That is what corruption does to a country
