The order 1886 needs a sequel… thats the only crime… and it needs to be like 20 hrs. 😂
KEIJI* KEIJI Inafune…
A couple of these I enjoyed and/or watched a YouTuber play, and would be interested in playing.
I love videos that claim that the order 1886 wasn't good. It was a great movie like video game that told it's story and ended it didn't overstay it's welcome 8hrs is perfect for a shooter story mode I don't need a 30+ hour game to be enjoyable
What about Starfield
Nice call out to Angry Joe there😆
Alas, the King returned to a throne made of turds that Duke had picked out of the toilet himself.
agreed to disagree on
The Order 1886
i did not buy anthem i got a copy of death end request it came out the same day
I'm going to go with Balan Wonderworld, as it looked promising, but turned out to be absolutely terrible
For me it will always be Brink. Anthem was up there for sure but Brink was one of the first games I paid for with my own money as a teen & I was definitely disappointed 😂
Dead Island was mismarketed but I really had fun with it even though it was rough around the edges and sold a lot. DI 2 was even better.
Hi
Speaking of Gearbox, Borderlands 3 was a huge disappointment to me. Gameplay is great and expanded on, but everything else about that game just felt bloated and poorly written/designed. Haven't touched a new Gearbox title since.
dead island was actually pretty good, sure it had an abundance of fetch quests, but it had a great melee system for its time… it's probably not worth going back for most though. I honestly would've put fallout 76, skull and bones, or if you dont want to look at revivals no mans sky.
Mass Effect: Andromeda should be on this list
Does Pokemon Scarlet and Violet count?
I liked the Order 1886, I thought it was super fun
The Order 1886 was A PS4 Exclusive
Anthem, Redfall, Suicide Squad.
These games show what happens when studios known for great single player games are forced to make multiplayer / live service games.
Suicide Squad: Kill the justice League and itself. It committed suicide.
Do you like awesome things that are awesome? Not when it's Mighty No. 9.
Duke Nukem Forever took forever to come out and it sucks forever.
NO I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANOTHER GODDAMN ZOMBIE GAME!
Games can brick consoles and PCs? Thank god I never got that.
9:28 This game was not the reason I got a PS4. I think my dad got it for Persona 5 and I also played Ghost of Tsushima on it, one of my few moments of solace in 2020.
I game that I was hyped for was Spyro Enter the Dragonfly. That game sucked. That game didn't even look finished. It was poorly rendered and also very short which is kind of a good thing.
Where the hell was TLOU part 2?! That was another hyped game that was a disappointment
The order was cool just short def needed a sequel. Strip everything away from anthem and make it an Ironman game boom fixed
There really is no excuse to make a shitty game. When you have hundreds of employees working on the same thing for several years, SOMEBODY has to notice that it's not looking good and speak up about it. Yet they don't. And what happens? We get games like these. So many problems that could've been avoided if only the developers had the common sense to know if something was good or not.
Anthem had sooo much promise and because of that it hurt soo much more.. Shame
Ayoooo that beginning
I liked The Order 1886 tbh!
I like the funny edits
nobody was ever hyper by suicide squad, we all know was going to be a failure, everyone knew except warner. you forgot to mention overwatch 2, 4 years waiting for a campaign that was cancelled
Well dead island multiplayer is still fun these days
I enjoyed Anthem my 2 complaints
1) they went with the call of duty SoP: make a partial game and think that multiplayer is going to be the only thing that players care about (which they do with call of duty)
2) it was just another looter-shooter and not the multiplayer adventure RPG the gameplay footage made it out to be.
Order 1886 is the best game on this list and it wasn't even hyped near enough what any of these other ones were…so for that, it is very harsh to include it on this list.
The only weakness it had was that it was too short, everyhting else was awesome!
Maybe it's just me but I don't feel like "The Day Before" ever had any real hype. There were a lot of people talking about it but it was almost entirely negative. I wouldn't call that hype. Sure, some people were positive but in my experience it was a devil's advocate type of thing where folks were just being supportive. It didn't sell well for a reason.
I will defend the order till the end I absolutely loved it
Totyk
Street fighter 6 spring to mind
