There’s a reason the first Exorcist never names the demon.

  1. I , was part of the crowd yelling
" EVIL DIES TONIGHT!" Lol! Yes, I'll admit to it. I was an extra on Halloween Kills.
I wouldn't change a thing about my experience, being a Halloween fan. I was in the fictional town of Haddonfield for a little while, it felt amazing! But, that line.
We started shooting around 7pm, and didn't wrap untill 5am. And all through that time, we had to say " Evil dies tonight " and many different ways, lol.
We did get a break from saying it once Mr.Tivoli jumps to his death.
But then it starts back up again, lol.

  2. "I am Pazuzu" is the least of the problems with Exorcist II: The Heretic, which is a mess of a film. I love Billy Friedkin (RIP), but it's not that silly a name compared to the names of many other demons throughout the history of human mythology, and Pazuzu is an actual Mesopotamian name for a specific demon.

  3. Sony pictures didn't make those changes to the Slenderman theatrical release due to that stabbing incident occurring at the time of production/post-production, as was stated. It had happened a few years prior to the movie even entering pre-production. I don't know where you got that completely false info from (though WhatCulture has a tendency to not do any research, so it makes sense). The stabbing happened in 2014, the movie was made a few years later and released in 2018. They were already WELL aware of the stabbing. They made those changes because of uproar surrounding the trailer. Don't try to cover for Sony pictures, by implying that they made those decisions out of good taste due to some coincidental occurrence. They were fully fine with exploiting that tragedy up until the release of the trailer, and the outrage that ensued. They're a terrible production company that only puts out garbage.

You guys need to get your shit in order, and while you're at it, how about some time stamps in the description for a change? I'd prefer to skip movies that I haven't seen yet. You always make it necessary for a subscriber to do the time stamps in the comments. I get that you can be super lazy and still make ad revenue, but how about having some respect for your current subscribers and do at least a modicum of research, and throw in some time stamps?

  4. Blaming the Slender Man film on a real life atrocity is really…. dumb… because they can't plan ahead of real-life horrors. It is right to censor it if they want to go ahead with the release date, so I don't really agree with the number one slot. Two girls did something horrible, they should adorn the film with more violence than the public should see. Makes sense, unfortunate for them, more unfortunate for the victim and the family. Deal with it.

  5. I think Blair Witch 2 was the best way to do a sequel. IMO the found footage genre is asinine and even less believable than normal movies. So much goes on yet somehow they held onto their camera to catch a lot of the drama. Also, Blair Witch Project was so boring. It's one of the few movies I wish I walked out of.

  7. I don't understand why filmmakers like having sharks roar in movies to make them "scarier." In the real world all you get before a shark attack is a little bit of splashing, if that. Being snuck up on and then suddenly chomped is far more terrifying than a crappy roar.

  8. Book of Shadows was supposed to be much more meta and interesting, commenting on the phenomenon that the original movie generated and exploring its effects. Naturally, this wasn't deemed commercial enough for Artisan and they whittled it down to much more of a typical horror movie. It's shame because the original concept sounds like it could have been interesting.

  9. Are we going to talk about how Cary Elwes gained like 50 lb and aged a decade since filming the first "Saw" and they never address it? LOL

I'm not bodyshaming. We're all older than we were when the first "Saw" came out, and a lot of us are fatter, but they shot scenes with Elwes that were supposed to take place right after the events of the first movie. He crawls out of the bathroom with a severed foot and immediately ages 10 years and gains a bunch of weight, and we're not supposed to notice. 🤦‍♀

Granted, this is a movie franchise that wants us to believe that Tobin Bell is in his 40s, so I guess they don't really give AF.
