  1. Welcome to raccoon city was only hindered by the abysmal cgi. Personally thought it was the best RE movie, if not the best VG adaptation to date! The character changes to Jill (wild card), Leon (dolting rookie instead of just inexperienced cop), and Wesker (reluctant betrayer instead of umbrella plant in STARS) aside, it followed the plots as well as a hollywood movie can with video game source material. With better Birkin and dog effects, it would be near perfect video game adaptation, imo.

  2. I actually quite liked AVP, the pyramid was cool, and fights were great,I think the ending was bit of a mess and didn't really like them teaming up,I get that was done in the comic's, but the cgi heavy ending wasn't great.

  3. The Scream death was the biggest sin. ESPECIALLY considering who it was that killed him. So ridiculous. AND the fact that they disrespected Neve after she had such a massive part in making it the iconic franchise that it became. Total waste.

  4. Here's the thing.
Welcome to Raccoon City was a shit storm from the getgo.
You got a piss poor director making massive promises he had no intention to keep. Imagine saying you're gonna make a faithful adaptation of the RE games, and all you did correctly was have the correct character names and 3 faithful sets.

  5. I don't recall anyone ever "wanting to bring back" sally hardesty as Laurie strode back to the franchise. Also she made 2 appearance's before the 2022 movie. There isin't much to hate about AVP1 it is exactly what it wants itself to be AVP2 is rubbish only rivaled by ROSW

  6. I'm sorry but welcome to racoon city that wasn't exactly the problem with the movie to me. I have to say it was making Leon a completely useless character and making him the butt of every none joke. Yes they tried to cram a lot in to it but to fail the characters so badly is what killed this movie for me prayed for the best got the worst. SMH

  7. AvP is one of my favorite movies of all time and not a single thing could change my mind. It has a badass woman of color being the sole survivor of a horror movie. She was honored by the Predators. She was badass and I loved it.

  8. Ignoring the fact that Scream 5 was so fk bad, death of Dewey was so lame so obvious and so stupid….. from the moment that Dewey left the elevator to confirm the kill it was clear that he gonna die. Wes Craven is rolling in his grave seeing his best movie so destroyed by directors and writters. For me Scream ended with 4th part.

  9. With RE francise. From the movies and TV shows…if they sticked to the main premise of survival horror, they can pull off a good movie or even show. They dont need to rely on fancy action scenes or horrible cgi. RE 1 is a great game. If they just base it on that scenerio they can make a decent movie. Just have the STARS members helicopter crashed land in the middle of woods (basically the same introduction from the game) minus certain baddies like the giant snake and bugs. Have practical effects, betrayal, giant shark is a must cause no one would expect that besides the og players haha. Also add in the bug humaniod creatures. Which are bad ass in the games or even have them kill Wesker near the finale or The Tyrant. Also no love for Hunter!!! They just gotta try to survive the night until their ride gets there to save them before the final show down with the Tyrant. Ok enough of me writing before I end up writing a whole script lol

  10. I will never ever forgive them for killing off Dewey, I’m one of those who don’t believe it was Amber due to height differences , logistics of strength , age & all the rest. Just makes no sense to me and as much as I don’t think they will I’m praying they’ll say there was a 3rd killer and tie it all together in the 6th movie which for the first time ever I’m not excited about. Only reason I’m sticking with it is coz it’s scream & I wanna support Courtney on her solo venture into ghostfaces next plan

  11. Ok, AVP 2 is a bad film by all measures (even if it does have some cool scenes), but to blatantly crap all over AVP – c'mon, Ash. It was neither dumb nor boring. Not a good movie, but also not a bad movie. It had plenty of interesting and entertaining scenes, great set pieces, and some interesting character dynamics (emphasis on some). Sure, it was a tricky idea to execute, and Anderson was NOT the guy to do that, but to say it was dumb and boring? Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

  12. We knew one of the legacy characters would die in Scream 5 and personally as sad as it was to see him go, I wasn’t surprised it was going to be Dewey. 4 fakeout deaths (or was it 3? I can’t remember if he had one in S4) in the earlier films it was a “twist” everyone should have seen coming.

  13. The casting and rush job is what ruined resident evil WTRC in my opinion. They should've stuck with either one or two not smash them both together however I find the movie a guilty pleasure in the same realm of mortal Kombat annihilation so yeah mission accomplished

  14. It's not that the fans hated it they just hated how you made it. A lot of the time in the resident evil series nothing was really followed they were massive changes to not only the characters but the storyline.

  15. How can you mess up a top 10 list this badly. Scream 5 is a great entry in the series. The bigger worry here is how anyone could slam the first AvP movie and ignore what an abomination Requiem was.

  16. The Resident Evil remake was not good but mostly because they didn’t do a great job with the casting either only Chris really looked like his character that was only slightly and AvP Requiem was better the the AvP you are so wrong about that

He even came back in and looked for me weekly as for what he should watch that week. Even came to my house on one Wednesday and watched movies and smoked weed with me.

  18. Ken Kirzinger was Kane Hodder's frequent stunt double, and they were close friends off-set, as well. When plans for "Freddy Vs. Jason" really started picking up steam, Ken has said many times that they made a pact about the casting. Whichever of them could sign up for the movie first, the other man would double for him. Unfortunately, Kane was locked into another project at the time, which made him unable to fulfill either side of their deal. (8/28/2022)
