1 Video that FAILED MISERABLY (Lack of Chapters to Blame)
Concord’s failure is well-deserved in my opinion. Right from the moment I saw it, I had zero interest in it and boy was I surprised it tanked and only lasted for 11 days. I feel sorry for those poor players who fell victim to this clown show purchasing this game. And when I heard it died in 11 days and will never come back, I was celebrating it, urinating on its corpse and using the disc as a coaster. Suicide Squad’s game also deserved to fail big time. Like who the fuck asked for these games?😂
Hopefully the AAA industry will learn. (Sarcastically speaking as they never do)
I loved Gundam Evolution. The gameplay really was fun, but the battlepass and pay-to-unlock suits were the biggest detractors.
To the battlepass's credit, it gave you enough in-game currency to buy most of the suits if you didn't mind grinding out some games first.
I would say Rogue Company failed so bad that Hi Rez is in financial trouble.
Square-Enix must have thought being exclusive with all those ps5 (ps4?) sales wouldn't be problem. Maybe it's not like Splatoon enough that has 3 games.
Corporate crones dont understand gamers.
I miss battleborn play both alpha and beta 🫡😢
i miss lawbreakers ðŸ˜
No Gigantic?
Glad you got most of the information right about battleborn. But it lasted 5 years i played with other players on its last day.
Any game with a black character
I miss Battleborn. It was fun times with friends and the leveling up was something I enjoyed. Some fun characters too, but it was not a great monetization model and had other issues.
Battleborn, evolve and rogue are a tragedy
Rogue company was SUCH A FUN GAME…then they started doing battle passes..then the game got stale because they just released skins and not maps or characters.
Me and my Bro were dropping 40 bombs almost every game each and we’re really good at the game. We even raced each other to the Nova skin (getting all the guns max level) but after that there was nothing to do but the..battle pass that wasn’t even that great
I was wondering what happened to gundam evolution
Oh concord Dev's you made a Netflix deal before you knew if the game was actually successful? All that money down the drain good job 😂
Lawbreakers dying still breaks my heart to this day
Gundam Evolution and Rogue Company had SOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL but wasn't properly handled by the publishers.
11:30
I feel like they only reason Gundam Evolution died was mainly due to some of the worst monetization decisions to date
im sorry but suicide squad kills jl should be number 2 behind concord
Anyone else expected to see Concord at the top spot?
Man, battleborn was actually fun. They just needed prettier characters to attract the fanatics overwatch has
Bring back Battleborn please 😠I loved that game
13:48. We all know. Don't disingenuous. Ofc it's a watchmojo vid. Didn't realize it until I heard the phrase and realized who made this vid.
It's a Shame DE couldn't recapture that Unreal Tournament charm though I still love Warframe so there's that
I was addicted to Exoprimal. Its the most fun I've had playing these types of games. Too bad not too many people are on nowadays. Its downfall was its admittedly boring early game and 60$ price tag, but damn those later levels get so tense but satisfying. Thats the only game I've played where DPS was probably the least popular role. Not because it was bad but because it was the hardest to play affectively. I wasn't a big fan of the PvP though. I'm sure if it was purely PvP it would have drawn a bigger crowd.
I mean rogue company was really fun to play
Gundam Evolution was freaking AWESOME!!!!
Saddest thing here is that I would love to play Foamstars.. But I don't own a playstation and I don't plan on buying one…
I haven't even heard of any of these except Concord.
I refuse to play Rogue Company cause it was made by the same company that made Paladins, looking at how they treat that game of course Rogue going to fail. I played Paladins since 2016 with 5k hours I dont remember when was the last time I had fun I stop playing like 2 years ago. Matchmaking was none existent, hackers were everywhere, game breaking bugs and they focus on skins. I heard from friends they are focusing on bug fixes. Sorry to say its too late.
I guess I consider myself as a Day 1 player of Foamstars and honestly it is a fun game, but I will admit it’s not as good as Splatoon which the game is obviously taking inspiration from. I will say it shouldn’t been a PlayStation exclusive and it would’ve gotten a bigger fan base cus this game feels like it would be more home on Nintendo
I think one of the big reasons that Foamstars just didn't take off anyway was it's use of AI, proudly saying they used it for a majority of their art assets. Turned a lot of people that were interested off of even wanting to play the game
Honestly wish for Evolve and Battleborn that they would have survived. For Battleborn, I feel Overwatch should have been the one to die, especially with how things for the game have only gotten worse and Battleborn had a lot more to give. For Evolve, it felt like an amazing game that was ahead of its time. Biggest issue was their focus on micro transactions being overboard with not many characters/monsters through dlc.
Yeah the executives thought that dei mess would be good along with the dumb ass journalists that said it was good all sucking off concord just for it to flop was the best thing ever and fuck that one dev that talked badly about people on twitter bros whole team got paid for 8 years and only had to work for 10 months
Battleborn is a great game, but Overwatch ruined it because they use Waifu's to lure gamers away from Battleborn, plus Orendi was way hotter then those waifu trash, including the that British one, and I'm a British person myself.
People need to stop making so many live service games!😡
They don't last!
They need to start making off line single players again!
maybe put online multiplayer in them, but not make them live service!
All that time and money WASTED!😓
At least Foamstars left us some great songs
Considering what happened to Overwatch, I often ponder the timeline where Battleborn actually WAS able to overtake Overwatch and if that would have been better for the industry as a whole
Believe it or not, Foamstars deserved more! It even had sexy waifu designs.
They didn’t even bother to mention the AI art in Foamstar. It’s for the music CDs But that means a large number of people just didn’t play the game because I don’t want to support AI
Battleborne mistake was to set itself up against Overwatch. It was fine pve hero shooter, idk why they tried to focus on their pvp when the fun was really the pve campaign.
Honestly out of all of these I wish we could bring Evolve back, while the whole 4 vs 1 has kind of been done a lot now I feel this was one of the best, all the hours I spent with friends playing Hunt modes and the evacuation mode were some of my best
I actually played rogue company back during covid on switch cuz I didn't play most shooters back then and I really enjoyed it! Wish it took off
I’m fairly sure gundam had like a few maps that replicated the layout of overwatch maps so there could be a under the table lawsuit that never came out or something similar or they just thought the game wasn’t doing as well as they hoped but I want rainbow six out break back that limited time game mode was awesome I loved playing it but extraction was good but it was still a shadow in comparison to outbreak
