Honestly, I feel like the title of this video should use the number 7, not 10. Even if a person hasn't actually seen "Cat People", "The Mummy" or either of those versions of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", the films have made too much of an impact on cinema to be considered part of the "you may have missed" category. Many subsequent movies have copied aspects of them, including their own sequels and remakes. Every October, one is bound to see pictures of the actors involved, hanging up in various stores. (1/8/2024)
These are a few of my favorite things! I own most of those films on bluray
How are the top 2 spots ones "people missed"? They're the most famous movies on this list
High CHAP eral…this is why we don't take Britbongs seriously. "High Shap-peral." But do go onj.
1st off, werewolf movies are my forte among the annals of horror movies. Def check out Company of Wolves & the more recent Werewolves Within… very underated comedy-horror. 2nd, y'all know this is a repost, right. What can I say I dig me sum Jess… that voice & them eyes 👁️ 🛏️ 💯
I'm one of the few people who saw Night of the Lepis in the theater as a child. It's so bad it's fun to see real rabbits run amok on scale sets.
The 1982 remake of Cat People is an under appreciated movie….just sayin…
Has anyone seen a movie about a mental patient, she has this very vivid halucinations where she lives through the last days and dead of different people throgh out history, is like she was actually living each story but people think she is crazy
Company of Wolves has been a firm favourite of mine for about as long as American Werewolf in London, with some of the transformations as fascinating as that more famous film's famous scene (some of them, admittedly, look dated now).
House I've only known of for a few years but it's absolutely nuts and I love it.
Thanks for the List and Video 😀
There's only the Japanese entries on this list that I haven't seen, and I can heartily recommend all the others… Except Night of the Lepus of course. Hot Garbage throughout.
Abel Ferrara's version of 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' – 'Body Snatchers' – is also good.
A Company of Wolves looks beautiful but don’t let the fairytale look fool you ,the blood splatters everywhere. From the director of An Interview with a Vampire it’s so good 🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺🩸🐺
I saw Valley of the Gwangi in the early 1970's. I was maybe 10 to 12 years old, still in the "I love dinosaurs" phase every kid goes through and this was one of my favourite movies.
When i say I dont like old horror movies. They are not good. Theyre just the first at making expensive trash
Ah yes, Cat People is so unrealistic about how the unrestrained hedonism of women will destroy everything around them. We definitely don't have constant, daily proof of that happening in the relationship market.
Only what? What was it?
Hyperga-what? What was it?
If it's not an AI, this narrator is full of shit, too.
Jess is so low energy compared to Ellie
Night of the Lepus? Really? Too bad to be funny.
That's hilarious she talks trash on Night of the leapus but she praised House,Gwangi, werewolves within. Hilarious specially werewolves within was just bad. Effects, graphics, acting everything
Night of the Lepus was one of my dad's favourite 'horror' movies! We watched it together a couple of years ago and it's hilariously bad!
Abrupt ending wasn't it. Also Everyone knows Invasion Of The Body Snatchers by now Jess(plenty of pod people on Earth now btw), so you should of included either the 90s version called Body Snatchers or even the 00s remake starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, as we all know the 50s and 70s movies.
I would also recommend The Relic (1997) that stars Tom Sizemore. That is an underrated classic.
You say Night of the Lepus misses the mark on every front but you include it at number 4 of GREAT horror movies we may have missed?
I love The Company of Wolves, though I’d call it fantasy more than horror. It’s a really beautiful movie, though, whatever you call it.
ONG! Valley of Gwangi! I watched that as a child and I vividly remember the tiny horses leading someone to the dinosaur canyon. I was searching for that movie way back and forgot about it but you brought it back. So vividly! A great movie, wonderfully animated for that time. Thank you for those videos, they remind me of many movies I forgot about
Bubba Ho-Tep was fun.
House was interesting for many reasons. One fun fact I learned is that the Directors young daughter helped him write the script, hence the reason it's so crazy. Also, Bubba Hotep with Bruce Campbell was awesome
10 Great Monster Movies You May Have Missed . . . Including The Mummy. One of the most famous monster movies of all time. How does that make this list? I dont care if kids today haven't seen it. They haven't seen any of the old monster movies. They know these exist, but they don't give a shit. How the Mummy makes a list of monster movies you may have missed, is far beyond me. Great movies you mave never heard of: Have you ever heard of Citizen Kane? You may have missed it. F**K Off.
Speaking of Ray Harryhausen, my favourite of his movies is Clash of the Titans from 1981 (not that horrible remake). Great monster movie!
The abrupt ending are so weird y’all need to stop
I watched Werewolf Within
I love Werewolves Within. I would put in the same category as Clue. Comedy Murder Mystery
I like this video. I'm wandering to see you guys talking about "Mad Monster Party"
Love Company of Wolves, an absolute classic that has fallen under a lot of peoples radars.
So you put out a list about monster movies only to have the first entry on the list feature no monsters whatsoever…I don’t know why I still follow WC anymore, it absolutely sucks lol
Love seeing The Company of Wolves talked about because it’s a fantastic movie that is underrated.
Also, Werewolves Within was a fun watch.
