  1. Another movie that broke rules is Maggie (2015). It differed by not only being a drama focused on one zombie near the beginning of an outbreak, but by featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a loving dad rather than an action hero spouting silly one-liners.

  2. More breakdowns on cults and dodgy satan worship please 👍👍. I must be in the minority as a horror fan but for me the zombie thing has been done to death 😂 got reanimated and shot again in the head 😂

  3. How is "Return of the Living Dead" not here? It broke the rules extensively. The zombies are clever, fast (unless decomposition or injury prohibits it), and most importantly, immortal. No amount of cranial damage puts them down. Even dismembered, the limbs move about on their own. Also, they're not hungry. They're in agony and only by eating brains can they know a moment of respite.

  4. I saw Zom-100 on Netflix and I loved it. Another Japanese zombie movie. I saw the live action, not the anime. Of course, the humans are worse than the zombies… No spoilers from me other than it's about a guy who is overworked and uses this to start a bucket list.

  5. Though it's a miniseries and not a movie, "All of Us Are Dead" (Korea) has creatures called halfbies; people that are bitten, but do not become full zombies, they retain much of their human quality The series is not great, but it's a clever idea

  6. King Of The Zombies is on my channel. Mantan Moreland is hilarious. He was also in Spider Baby and the Charlie Chan movies, and a couple Stooges shorts. He came close to being a replacement Stooge, but he got a better offer.

  7. I'm always pleased when Pontypool gets some love. It's one of those movies that's always stuck with me in the back of my mind. And being set in Canada is always a plus. Honourable mentions to Cooties as well.
