I haven't done an evil playthrough of BG3…yet.
Part of why I'm saving it for last is because I know companions will leave you if you get too nasty, and the game would really be difficult solo.
Oh, you can probably recruit Minthara early on, maybe Shadowheart will stick around…but…unless there are more evil characters to befriend, I'm not sure playing evil will be all that great.
Thus…saving it for the end.
Companys that make these "slots like" mobile games prolly use the same devs as casinos.
Where is Kenshi?
I'm surprised firewatch didn't make the list for making you want to cheat on your wife
How is Eve Online not even on this list here?
DayZ
nightclub simulator VR? Anyone?
Now I wanna play Planet Coaster. 🤣🤣🤣 I have one of their Jurassic Park games, so I might give it a shot there.
I'd say Monopoly is just being extremely on brand with it's own theme.
all i do in gta online is buy cars, modify them, drive them, sell them, buy other cars and eventually i always have a stockpile, i usually dont do any of the shop stuff cause i cant be arsed
world of warcraft, you go to a new zone, proceed to rid the entire area of whatever used to live there for the last hundreds of thousands of years
Why do so many gamers enjoy torturing NPC's?
I'm genuinely fascinated by this and I was hoping I could get enough answers to put together some kind of study to dive into the reasons behind why people enjoy it. I'm sure there are plenty of smartass answers to this, but I bet there are also some damn interesting ones as well.
So, if anybody cares enough to answer: Why is it so fun to fuck around with NPCs?
I'd add World of Tanks for having a utterly toxic gamer community
Bros, if you've never played League, DON'T. I'm almost at a year of playing and it's the most toxic game I've ever played, and it's usually your own teammates that are toxic af 😂 but it's super funnnnnnnnnn. Very competitive. I've never gotten more angry at any other game before.
Wasn't expecting to see Rimworld here. It's perfectly accurate, though.
there must have been ANY fighting game on the list. i know many people (including myself) who rage while playing fighting games specifically but not any other kind of games. the salt can get unreal
Such a bummer list. Instead of games that actually bring out some character persona out of you, like manhunt, doom, dark souls, witcher…what we have here is.. Palworld?
Gaming culture sure has fallen off the cliff way down
The Overlord games
I don't think the last two actually belong on this list, but are probably the main reason you made this list to rant about monetization. Unless you mean brought out the darkest nature of the publisher, because I don't think it encourages the same "Dark Impulses" as other games on the list.
I take exception to your comments sir. I'm not playing like an a-hole. I'm an a-hole, playing a game. Also murdering your political opponent in the original Tropico. "No one wants to run against you El Presidente! Enjoy your next term!"
Of course the list comes back to microtransactions. All lists eventually come back to microtransactions
I know this goes back to the dawn of gaming, but i was pretty liberal with the nukes in Red Alert 2
I will definitely judge you based on how you spend your money lol
Fallout 4 and RDR2 really give you a lot of options when it comes to being evil
Fallout new vegas…. don't know how much this counts but my latest playthrough I worked on getting the legion safe house key, and I generally help out the incredible, and then… nuked both of them in lonesome road and some times when I'm done most stuff I save another copy or whatever like i was in vault 11 re exploring when I first did this and…idk
You forgot about Dayz
DAMN now I gotta go and buy one of those rollercoaster games!
It's wild no one has mentioned Postal 2
Any Bethesda rpg or similar rpg games where it is common to have a quick save button. You click quick save and then go on a rampage, killing everything that is killable.
I hate to admit it but fifa. I can't tell if I get more mad at online vs offline matches but that's probably a bad sign in and of itself. Took me very long not to get mad when playing g with friends tho.
few honourable mentions, rdr2, Eso, and bioShock
I was not aware Planet Coaster was like that. I might have to buy it now.
3:08 crashed in someone with this one
Dude pulled out oppressor. Still he lost but was pain in the ass
2k & COD cuz wtf wrong with yall lol not that serious
Mobile games are garbage… why anyone would spend money on them, or own a mobile phone in the first place, is beyond me.
Rdr2?
I'm pretty sure Postal 2 should be on this list… or any postal game in fact…
I played Monopoly once, accumulated a bunch of money. Came back and dime came and stole it all. Once that happened I was good on the game.
I don’t like this narrative you’re trying to enforce with Pokémon and palworld. Bro they are not the same, stop comparing it to that. It’s not Pokémon. It’s a whole different game
I really thought CS:GO was #1 when I heard LoL was #2. Toxic players with addicted case openers. People can get you kicked in game and so much more.
For honor brings out every toxic part of me. I hate it but I’ll be on tomorrow
When I played Jurassic Park operation genesis I would delete the fences and let the dinosaurs play with the guests I still do it in Jurassic World Evolution 1 and 2
If y’all like torturing npcs watch let’s game it out he’s great at that
Lara croft locking the butler in the freezer
