  1. A lot kf these games were multi platform. Lost Odyssey tanked becuase it released on the 360. XBOXs base was all about its shooters and western made RPGs had it and Blue Dragon released on PS3 the games would have been successful and mistealker would still be making console RPGs and not exclusive to the phone market.

  2. Enslaved: odyssey to the west was one of my favourite 360 games. Everything mentioned here is relevant, but what blew me away the most was the incredibly well made character movement and facial animations. Seriously, the facial animations were so realistic and subtle it was really impressive.

I remember being blown away in lost odyssey by how the intro cutscene transitioned into seamless gameplay. It was extremely impressive.

My favourite 360 cult classic though is dragon's dogma. Okay, I don't know how underrated it was, if it did sell poorly. I also don't know if most people would even call it a cult classic BUT despite it's rough edges and flaws it had a huge amount of charm.

I still play it now and again on PS4/5.

  3. The facts of the Alice game are incorrect. Madness Returns did AMAZING on PS3. What happened was they never approved any of the versions McGee put forth and after a few years of rewrites they said they don't want to greenlight one. And then McGee came out and said he wouldn't make another Alice game and if the studio decided to (because he doesn't own exclusive rights) that he WILL NOT be a part of it. He's now working on his online store "Mysterious" and he still claims to be an "American Game Developer Living in Shanghai"

  4. The first time I remember being shocked by a plot twist is when you went into the future as Link in Ocarina Of Time. I appreciate that time travel is (basically) in the name of the game, but being transported to a future where Gannon won blew my mind at the time.

  5. @9:16 actually darksiders 2 takes place literally in the middle of darksiders 1 lol right after the tutorial in fact and BEFORE war gets released by the charred council

  6. I bought brutal legend 3 separate times haha. The RTS switch-up kinda sucked but the soundtrack was excellent and jack black was funny as hell. And Ozzy, Lemmy, Rob Halford…oh and Tim Curry!!

  7. I played quite a bit of American McGee's Akeniero : Demon Hunters which came out of his Spicy Horse Shanghai studio about ten years ago. Art style was great, and people could hire your geared characters to help with their missions, so occasionally you would just get game currency when you signed in which was nice.

  8. Adore 'Brutal Legend' and 'Alice: Madness Returns' as some fun games to say the least that no one talks about. Hmm, 'Overlord' take control of an army of goblins, "Earth Defense Force' series slay invading giant insects and robots with earth's mightiest arsenal. 'Army of Two' best as a co-op unfortunately the single player is crap with the dumb AI. 'Conan" what is good in life? 'Neverdead' our hero powers is being ripped apart and shuffling around to solve puzzles. 'Gun' a good old wild west game that gost among the popularity boom after 'Red Dead Redemption.' And the 'Risen' series a role playing game that really fell off the radar.

  9. How could they say Alan Wake was a failure? It was legendary enough on release to rival resident evil.

Lost odyssey was also brilliant, Microsofts attempt at a final fantasy styled game and it is just as good as some of them
