Understanding that you don’t write the material, you ARE the face of this channel and so it is reasonable to give you §#|¥ for poorly considered or possibly extrapolating facts from very nebulous sources. This is in reference to a couple of your videos that you released in the last few weeks. No doubt the writer is running dry on new topics and is scraping the bottom of their barrel, or maybe you have a ghost writer who just came in to give the regular writer a break. I could not say, nor can I say that these less than your usual logic videos were written and filmed within the last weeks or if this is an unfortunate coincidence that you had an older video that has been sitting in cold storage uploaded around the same time that this poorly considered video was written and filmed. I won’t go down the entire list because 1-some points might be valid and 2-multiple items might be required for obtaining quotes to estimate costs on a new project proposal but aren’t really necessary to point out the ridiculous. With that in mind, I will just point at #1 and say it is a ridiculous example of a project that “took too long to complete “. The Great Wall of China is one of the 7 Wonders of the World and has been for some time. A few centuries if the category has been in existence for that long. You have another Wonder on this list, but I am sticking with just #1. The Great Wall is considered a Wonder simply because it exists. That someone pops up a few thousand years after a project is complete with a “what took you so long “ would be laughable coming from a civil engineer. Coming from a writer who might or might not have any experience in construction of such fortifications that traveled the length of the border into China is doubly ridiculous, a-no one on the planet has such experience nor has there been anyone since the last individual responsible for the design and build (encountering the problems one would frequently encounter on a project that massive) stopped breathing a few thousand years ago and b-the invisible writer(s) for this channel MIGHT have studied the theory behind such a project but the odds are highly unlikely. I WILL give them 2 points for having the audacity to suggest that many of these projects took too long with no comparisons in existence. I guarantee that there are numerous lists of interest in this world to keep your followers engaged AND entice new subscribers without ever having to produce a list filled with ridiculous conjecture. The same can be said about your recent video about the USA. There is an over abundance of subjects worthy of your mockery that you would never have to reach or stretch with conjecture. It’s as if someone got lazy and started making stuff up rather than completing their research. I shrugged the US video off as a rush job around the holidays, but a second video starts to make one wonder. Maybe one would consider creating a very confidential panel who might contribute actual facts but like attracts like so I would think that you would have friends as smart as you are. That is just conjecture, however, which is why I suggest a panel that is sworn to secrecy.

There was a highway widening project in my town that took about 12 years to cover about 3 miles, blocking up a major commercial railway for a while and leading to the demolition of commercial buildings and apartments. And now it’s more jammed than it ever was. Gotta love American infrastructure…

I moved back home to Philly in 2005. There was construction on Rt. 1 by Neshaminy Mall. Guess what? There’s even more construction on Rt. 1 by Neshaminy Mall right now. 18 years and it’s still not finished.

This reminds me of a local problem here in the NW burbs of Chicago – the cursed Rt. 53 northern highway expansion. After a years and years of holdouts by local suburbs over expense and in one town's case the damaging of their folksy facade that draws in actual visitors, it still hasn't gotten greenlit because of towns bickering over how much each would have to pay and the environmental impact to local wetlands. Last I read it might be 20 years before it might be finally approved, because environmental studies take so goddamn long.

It is an 18 floor, 300,000 sq ft office building in Altamonte Springs, FL. Under construction since 2001, it is still unfinished and dominates the skyline with its awkward, ungainly profile.
Anyone local to the area can tell you that this building is beyond despised.
