Shattered dimensions is my favorite Spiderman game without a doubt
OK, so there was a Spider-Man arcade machine that I can't remember the name of, but had Hawkeye and Namor as playable characters. It was at one particular movie theater and I always tried going there just to play that game.
Web of shadows desperately needs a remake or remaster
Spiderman games will always be overlooked to me cause they chose to do the scam exclusive to sony BS then try to sell me a game 3 years later on pc as "new" for full price

Wished we got to hear about Spider-Man friend or foe that was a fun little game being able to play as spiders villains and attacking on symbiotes.
Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage. Very underrated.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2012 PS3/Xbox 360 was really good and deserved to be on this list way more than Spider-Man 3 and Edge of Time.
The movie game is still my favorite outside of the Insomniac games.
Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin was one of my favourite games as a teen.
they should remaster shattered dimensions and edge of time. they'd sell like hotcakes with the angle of calling them "the original spider-verse"

Overlooked is a very bad title, maybe "most iconic Spiderman games", also Web of Shadows is absolutely crap, awful voice acting, empty, bland open world, bs boss fights, terrible and forgettable music, repetitive missions, unoriginal character designs outside of the symbiote enemies and bosses, and is just overall soooo borriingg to play

Maximum Carnage. My personal favorite. Play as Venom. Music by Green Jelly. So may hours spent playing and replaying that game in my childhood.

Spiderman games have that perspective that makes you feel like a super chimpanzee swinging from arm to arm. That will always be one of the most feeling like "superman flying" things ever.

An overlooked game is Spider-Man 2 for the Gameboy Color. It was a 2D sidescroller that was very fun and had excellent bosses
So stoked to see Spider-Man vs The Kingpin here. I grew up on this game (along with the two Genesis X-Men games), and I still remember how excited I was to discover I could have Spidey actually walk on walls and ceilings.
I remember at the time of Spider-Man the game came out, they said it was the first game to feature a girl on girl kiss assuming you played the whole game as Mary-Jane and then kissed Mary-Jane lol.
Y'all the PC version of Spider-Man 2 (2004) is not the version you want to show. That is the weakest version and a completely different game from the beloved PS2/Xbox/Gamecube release.

Edge of time was an amazing game ❤ would love a remake with insomniacs gameplay improvement 😅 the first spiderman movie game was terrible IMO and web of shadows might have not gotten the recognition it deserved because there were multiple different versions of it that were a crappy side scrolling beat em up which is the only version I've ever played 😢
