The Jennifer love Hewitt quote was made up by a little kid visiting the set 💯
Him saying "The texas chain saw massacre is the greatest horror movie ever made" , i agree screaming PERIOD
nice, 28 weeks chase was nuts because it showed that the confined dark house and the open grassy fields could feel terrifying with the return of the IP
Fun fact: Jack was the only legitimate threat in the Shining. The naked old lady? Hurt no one. The creepy twins? Harmless. The bloody elevator? Completely powerless. Literally nothing was a threat except Jack.
Last lol body parts has a cool car chase
The Gale scene is great and Scream 2 is my favourite 😊🐾💜👍
So glad to see Courteney Cox’s scene here. The part where she runs down the corridor trying multiple locked doors before she finally finds an open one was brilliantly executed. Cox was incredible in Scream 2.
Scream 3, not so much.
Both TCM movies had chase scenes. 74 and 03.
I didn't realise IKWYDLS and Buffy were released the same year, SMG must have filmed the movie right after season 1 of the show.
Awesome list love a good chase scene 🖤
I also loved the chase sequences in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2," especially when Leatherface chases Stretch through the tunnels. I was literally on the edge of the couch screaming at her to RUN, RUN, RUN! It was so intense!
How about any number of chase scenes in The Hidden (1987)? With perhaps the most chases in any film out there, Jack Shoulder's magnum opus, the thrill kill alien that possesses a person until the body is useless movie, is rife with great candidates for this list. The opening chase scene alone is worth it's weight in gold for the sheer audacity of it all. I mean the guy that we later learn is being controlled by a slug like alien, is tearassing through the streets of L.A. in a Ferrari, bumping Shok Paris' On Your Feet and running over multiple people in its path. Oh yeah, one of those people is in a wheelchair at the time. That couldn't have been on here?
Mute Witness (1995) should be here. Better chase scenes than 80% listed here
Seriously?! Not one of the first 4 Friday The 13th movie chase scenes made the list, but American Psycho did?!
This is definitely an opinion list, not a fact list.
Dawn of the Dead, the neighborhood gone to hell scene
The Black Maria truck driver at the end of Texas Chainsaw Massacre is still running to this day….
Imma Falling. The damsel that never leaves you hanging.
Prom Night is one of my favorites!! One of the very few horror movies that made me cry…I thought Jamie Lee Curtis's character realizing she brutally injured her baby brother was heart wrenching…
Pretty much the entire movie Duel by Spielberg beats anything on the list. Yes, I consider it a horror film.
The opening scene in The Thing with the dog. Arnie escaping over the waterfall in Predator. The Engineer chasing Kirsty down the corridor of hell in the original Hellraiser.
You missed the best chase in horror history!! Although it was the killer being chased, the speedboat chase from Amsterdamned is legendary. Pleasantly surprised to see the great Prom Night chase make the cut given how much some of you guys hate on it 🙂
Please different lists and movies already, you have featured these moments dozens of times now.
Seeing Gale Weathers here makes my Scream fan heart very happy. She has two of the most memorable chase sequences in the franchise.
Great list. I would have included the movie Duel, the whole movie is chase scene
you guys need to check out the first omen. it has a possession scene that rivals annas from possession
I know the sequence is frowned upon by some these days (which could be why WC didn't include it) but the chase through the forest in the original The Evil Dead.
Algorithm 👍🏾
TUESDAY!!!!!!! (The Shining)
Got to admit. The 28 weeks later chase scene, the Shining, and the I Know What You Did … are the best ever chase scenes. It’s like you are part of the movie.
Helen should of been #1
I wish Sarah Michelle Gellar never died in that movie that way i could get that much more of her
You broke my heart with #10 </3
I remember being five years old and COMPLETELY SILENT with Gales scene. That’s where Courtney Cox entered my life. I swear it’s her best performance.
I really like how you read Ewan! You do it with passion ❤️
I wouldn't need to do it since my wife is smart enough not to risk her life for a random kid, but if she did it would be proof she has no survival instincts and would make it fairly easy to leave.
Who is Cristie In Bale?
Although the weight would have still killed her, the blade would have been harmless on the chainsaw since no one was controlling the throttle so the blade wouldn't be moving.
Never heard someone describe a snowstorm as blistering, especially since that term is typically associated with heat.
Wow, really loved the effort put into the outro! That "Thanks for watching and supporting our work!" was amazing! You guys work so hard on your outros, I'm shocked you don't get called out more on it! fucking sarcasm
