  1. Include a gay/lesbian/transgender character? The absolute scandal! The horror! 🤦🏽‍♀️back in the day, sesame Street always tried to include kids from all walks of life. Biracial kids, special needs kids, kids that live with their grandparents or aunts and uncles, kids that were adopted, etc. I think now they’ve even included kids that have two moms, two dads etc. we need to show characters like that because that’s reality. The only ones making a big deal out of everything such as these “different” characters are the adults. The kids don’t care. The kids might question hey why did he just kiss that guy? And then the parents calmly say well that’s because they’re in love or that’s his boyfriend or that’s his husband or whatever. And the kid would go oh OK and continue to watch the movie. But it’s these parents, these adults, that are all up in arms and have to ban the movie and have to do all the stuff to make it a big deal and make the movie more desirable as it’s “forbidden”.

  3. I thought Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness was bad but not because of that certain scene which got banned in these countries. Again Beauty and Beast it's the same apart from I found it watchable.

Not seen Lightyear but yes I know why it got banned and I'm sure it's not either a bad film because of a certain scene.

  4. Sorry but it has to be said: the real reason that Lightyear bombed at the box office was because of the same-sex kiss and parents didn't want their kids exposed to that at such a young age but Disney is just too afraid to admit it. They really just need to stop featuring such "woke" content going forward, so this doesn't happen again. Still a great film though, too bad we won't get a sequel.

  5. Disney gets up in arms about the Florida bill but happily cuts it for the rest of the world? Disney is so full of sh*t. It's all about money guys. Stop supporting Disney.

  6. Dude…. you mentioned Malaysia banning Beauty and the Beast & Lightyear, but no mention of Thor: Love & Thunder? This ban was more controversial than the earlier 2 movies because until now they didn't exactly clarify WHY it was banned. Some say its due to LGBT scenes, others due to nudity and even because "too many God's appeared".

  7. I find it funny that people bitch and moan about Disney pushing their so-called "agenda" with more gay or diverse characters in their stories. Disney's agenda hasn't changed. It's about money, the way it always has been. Making things more accessible to different audiences is just smart business. And I personally like the idea of seeing stories that aren't just fronted by someone who looks like me.

  8. Ha!I just thought that if disney were truly fare and they actually cared, they would add a section for only American's, a section for only straight people, and a section for only "white" people.I don't see them slapping that on Disney plus.

WatchMojo. Seriously? To quote Captain American and the Winter Soldier; "You have to do better!"
That bill is not also known as the "don't say gay" bill. It literally does not say the word "gay" in the bill anywhere. If you're going to release videos and reference things, make sure they are correct. You need to do better! The bill bans heterosexual talks as much as it bans homosexual talk. No one is being singled out. Stop enabling the cultural divide.
