Let’s get cruising in part two of our P&O Azura Canaries and Madeira cruise! Make sure you caught part 1 first! In this episode we have a sea day, sailing from Madeira back to the Canaries but will I get the rough seas I’ve been craving, try out room service, go gambling, sample the main dining room, buffet and Sindhu, show you some of the delights from La Palma, including a volcano trek and tapas in the beautiful town of Santa Cruz de La Palma, hire buggies on the island of Fuerteventura to experience some on and off road fun, including a drive through the volcanic landscape and sand dunes of Corralejo, plus I show you what’s in Puerto del Rosario and walk times from the ship, more Pringles songs and lots of tips to make the most of your time onboard and ashore. Let’s do this! Final part coming this Saturday at 8.30am!

  1. Some great experiences shown here. If I was 25 years younger and without arthritis I would have been on that walk with you – that is the geologist/geographer in me. The only thing you disappointed me was your failure to have any haggis – how could you miss that delight (and I mean delight, I love the stuff). Looking forward to your visit to Mount Teide. Will you rest on a tiny fumerole as I did?

  2. Looks like you had a great time. I went on a solo holiday to La Palma in October last year and stayed in a lovely resort not too far from where you did the volcano hike. I would have liked to have done that tour but it was way too hot (35-40C) to do it when I went. Instead I had booked a tour of the North East and it was perfect. I also found it interesting that I share the same name as the main street in Santa Cruz, Calle O'Daly.

  3. Loving the vlogs, we had the same booth in Sindhu on Azura, on our first cruise back in 2016, we went there for our first wedding anniversary. They treated us well and we then had the same waitress 2 and a half years later on Britannia in the limelight club, she had made such an impression in Sindhu we remembered her and she was very pleased we remembered her.

  4. Hello Jamie, it was me who sent you that Sea Lines magazine. I looked around the ship the whole week, and couldnt see you',so I went to reception and they found 5 Jamies on board .I recognised your surname when they read it out. Obviously they wouldnt give out your cabin number so they did the drelivery. The second week of the cruise the pax were quite different; quieter and more relaxed. I am next cruising on Aurora on 26/4 19 nights; easily my favourite P & O ship
