One person was killed in a shooting in east Charlotte on Thursday morning, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.
It happened in a neighborhood on Eastcrest Drive, which is just off Central Avenue near Briar Creek Road.
Medic confirmed one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
CMPD hasn’t released any details at this time. It’s unclear if a suspect has been identified or if anyone is in custody. #Crime #News
