1 Hour of Resident Evil 3 Facts

I’ve seen a lot of people request it so I decided to finally do a whole hour of facts, trivia, and lore related to Resident Evil 3. So sit back, relax and enjoy a trip back to the beginning of the end for Raccoon City, and Jill’s escape from the outbreak.

  1. I hate how they crapped over og Nemesis' design for such a stupid reason. Yeah, him not mutating was less "grand" but it made him stand out from most other RE creatures and made you question whether you're doing damage to him at all. Again, this is just another instance where the original developers put way much more thought into the design.

  2. RE3's remake was fantastic in some ways and really disappointing or a bit puzzling in others. Anyone who has played both can probably guess which bits I'm talking about for the most part. As for the puzzling bit, I don't really get why they traded giant frogs for…whatever the heck the remake's iteration of the Gamma project were. I could hazard a guess, but given what the giant bugs in the power-plant region do to you I doubt the creep side of the fandom is the reason for it.

  3. I’m still hoping for a remaster of the OG trilogy in the same vain as the tomb raider remaster so I can experience the OG games because I don’t have access to them as I’m a console player

  4. 15:30 Resident Evil: Death Island
Not only do we get to see Chris, Leon, Claire, Jill, and Rebecca all interact, they all know one another and it's clear everyone is on good terms with mutual trust and respect. And the concept of nanobot mosquito transmission is frighteningly well realized. Love it.

  5. 11:27 correction: in the original Alone in the Dark, you chose between a male and a female character to play as (similarily to RE for obvious reasons). So Jill was not the first playable female character in a survival horror game.

  6. In the Resident Evil novel, The Umbrella Conspiracy, Jill's backstory was that she was a professional thief with her father and joined S.T.A.R.S to avoid prison
