  1. Oh wow, not Click bait.
To help any others who check the comments to see if this is Click Bait. It is not. It is actually good info and what the title says.

  2. So, a prior & sour former investor leaks a letter attacking a competitor?? And it's anonymous?? And posted by someone who has been actively posting conspiracy theories?? And attacks others free speech, than whines about his own…and we're supposed to take this as breaking news…nah

  3. Sam started the company and retains the loyalty of the engineers. These appear to be butt hurt useless employees a for profit should not be wasting money on. What screams out is that they are such cowards … Not to say this isn't going to put humanity in the grave – it may.

  4. I find it odd that these former employees think they have a right to be privy to all of the leadership's information and to second guess their decisions. They strike me as under-performing, self-important rabble rousers if I'm being honest. There is no requirement for management to run to the workers every time they have a decision to make. They ARE the leadership, after all. If you want to go places, work hard, keep a good attitude and let management manage until such time as you are part of management.

  5. OpenAI is becoming CloseAI and on its way to be next LoseAI (MySpace). Customers and developers will eventually leave within a couple of years. MSFT’s investment will go to the drain and its own AI and silicon capabilities are the worse by far among the three hyperscalers.

  6. drama like this is great ultimately tests what's a more legit broader equilibrium, there's no first principles alignment when human context is significantly subjectively

  7. From what people are saying I understand that most of this may be BS. But finding out that one of the top data scientists in the world may be transphobic and not respectful of others' differences kinda sucks. Im a huge AI nerd and a transsexual man, and i gotta be honest, I'd believe that claim

  8. You just lost me as a subscriber. Publishing unconfirmed trash from a known competitor light years behind OpenAI's capabilities, and a known amplifier of disinformation is simply unforgivable. You are just pushing his narrative, and that makes you a supporter of Elon Musk and his dangerous narratives.

  9. Sounds like Elon Musk is still mad about being thrown out of the company to me since he was a former member of Open AI. He loves to start trouble for other people and the chance to make something up since he was ousted from the company himself.

  10. Strange as it may seem, no amount of learning can cure stupidity, and formal education positively fortifies it. There must always be some who are brighter and some who are stupider. The latter make up for it by being better workers.

  11. General artificial intelligence is impossible, doesn't matter how intricate your algorithms are, genuine inspiration cannot be simulated.
Recombination if the known facts and presenting it as a "general intelligence"… well, it's probably good enough for the investors.

The biggest sin if OpenAI in my view is that it facilitates the narrative/agenda manipulation. Specifically, democratic party-aligned narrative. This is what big corporations backing the government are prepared to pay for
    This is all very sad.
