  2. Sad story. And yes, dealership should've done something to protect the areas where multiple people might be located, like installing steel bollards around such areas. Even if dealership's owner doesn't personally care about lives of other people – this will prevent costly lawsuits where the victims or their relatives will sue the dealership for not providing a safe environment.

  3. I live in a state where renewal for driver’s license is every 10 years. The retirees are coming in droves. New neighbor came back from DMV said license is good till I am 89, not sure if I want to drive at that age. I thought doesn’t mean you have to drive till that age🤦‍♀️. Whole lot of diminishing capacity will be happening in the next 10 years. Between the summer guests (tourist) and the Northern Poor (locals call the retirees), it a 🤬battlefield when out driving. This county pays the highest car insurance in the state because of these two factors. May the woman killed didn’t know what hit her and thoughts to her loved ones. R.I.P.

  4. Meanwhile, a driver in Phoenix, ploughs through a kidney dialysis business. sending folks to the hospital. The videos of vehicles into homes, businesses , bus stops & pedestrians is an astronomical number.

  5. Was it a old lady driving or that was lost due to the accident? Some of these comments are very insensitive to elderly drivers. My mom is 75 and live in a rural country area. She drives just as good as some young people that are good drivers. There are even some young people I question on why do they have a DL. This is very unfortunate, but we shouldn’t bash the elderly.

  6. AVOID DRIVING IN LOS ANGELES AT ALL COSTS!! I can’t stress it enough, I’ve lived in DT for 20+ years and volunteered at USC+LAC emergency dept and thought I’d seen it all till I started using the roadway network, it’s literally out of the mad max movies. You’ll be nearly sideswiped, cars rushing at 75mph on residential streets, people running red lights, you’ll be harassed and attacked if you’re going below 80mph in the left lane, a huge embarrassment for the city, and for some odd reason with all the tax dollars thrown at vision zero, our elected politicians can’t seem to get a handle on road safety since right now our roadway networks are experiencing their deadliest year on record. Their goto policy is “one more lane will fix levels of service” and not prosecute the criminals.
