  1. Absolutely phenomenal work! I've just finished some British Ab figures, and I agree that they are the best. personally, I have started going for shadow, mid-tone, and then highlight, with a glaze to then tie it all together, if needed but I may return to painting, washing, and then highlighting again after watching this! Beautifully painted , one point (nothing to do with your excellent work I add) it's not a sleeping bag in that back pack but more likely the groundsheet come poncho they were issue as standard, in the 1960's ours were a olive green but the WWII one was sort of a tan colour according to my ref book on issued kit to British soldiers (photos of the real items not paintings) your smocks are spot on , great job you have done
