  16. I was with you the day you filmed in the DT and watched your reaction to all the great finds! 😍 You did such a great job of filming and the fact that you didn't notice your surroundings just shows you'd be a natural at this! 😘
    All the checkers were crowded around to watch you too and they probably haven't had a lot of YouTubers in their store. You may have been a little nervous at the beginning but you pulled through and made a great video! 😚
    I watch another YouTuber who is in California and she doesn't have any Plus stores either. Maybe they're converting the stores by state but it's hard to tell what direction they're going in.
    I'm in Texas and I think all of our stores are now Plus stores. And I've watched other YouTubers in other states that have Plus stores.
    As far as I know all states will eventually be a Plus store. Each state had a date for completion and Texas was last May.
    Basically in a Plus store, there's one aisle dedicated to the Plus section. There are $3 and $5 items in that aisle alone.
    The other difference is in the frozen food section with the addition of $3, $4 and $5 items. Some stores that haven't been converted, already have the changes in the freezer section.
    The prices of the new freezer items are very comparable to regular grocery stores. You might pay 3¢ more for an item but it's worth it if you don't want to go to a big grocery store for a couple of items! 😉
    My small town only has two big grocery stores, Walmart being one and a Texas chain being the other. Both stores are packed all day long so if I can pick up a loaf of bread or frozen meal at DT, I don't have a problem with it! ☺️
    If you go to the DT website, you can see the Plus section's items. You'll see the $3 and $5 items and some of the deals they offer!
    I hope this helps you know where DT's are going and assure you that the Plus stores will eventually be in Kentucky and every other state. Just know when they start transforming DT's in Kentucky, they will finish all the stores there before moving to another state.
    But the only big difference is the one aisle with $3 and $5 items. Everything else in the store will still be $1.25 (except the freezer).
    The Plus section will give you bigger signs and other occasions of decor. Bigger storage containers, household cleaning items, bigger packages of socks and even pairs of shoes! But the $3 and $5 decor is far superior to the normal items!
    You know how DT has improved their normal items since the increase to $1.25! So until you get a Plus section, you will get better things for your money!
