There’s a huge New World 1.04 bug that makes it so if your buy or sell orders go through while you’re offline then you lose all your money. Buy orders take your money but don’t put items in your storage. Sell orders take your items but don’t give you money.
This 1.04 New World glitch is the worst one yet. This can actually ruin your entire account. You need to be aware of this horrible game breaking New World bug, it’s extremely bad. I personally lost between 35,000 and 50,000 coins overnight from this New World money glitch. It’s the worst New World gold glitch to hit the game yet.

In terms of fixing it, as long as they have the history of orders (which I'm sure they do cuz we see it) they can just give back the gold for all orders completed after the patch
Just logged into check had 18k but sold 2ks worth of stuff the time that I was offline… after about 5 mins my account was magically at 20k… You think maybe only some servers are bugged?
This fucking game. How much money did we all collectively lose from just the listing fees we just had to cancel. They better reimburse us for this.

My money come through when I took my items off the market
got my all my gold from trading post by putting decorations in my house somehow. don't know why but it worked for me
I got on exepcting to have 10K+ g and then I saw that all my smolder hide, all my scar hide all my everything sold and I got NOTHING

You can only have one character logged in so what happens to other characters who are also selling and not logged on?
The issue is, in my experience, is if you haven't logged on since the patch then it's possible to lose your things. I was on up until about 30 minutes before shut down with roughly 2.5k in my inventory. Logged on shortly after the patch just to see if the servers were back up, still had the same amount. I logged on this morning at around 0730 and had 6k in my inventory. It seems to me that people who haven't logged on since the servers went down for maintenance are in jeopardy of losing their things; people who have logged on may be fine as they are "phased" into the updated patch. (logging in asap after the patch is best as being logged off for any amount of time up to and after the patch is what seems to be the issue in my experience)
This isn't the only issue I've experienced myself. I've also lost my house in Everfall when I logged back on after the 1.0.4 patch. All my trophies, chests, and decorations are gone. They aren't even in my storage, which right now is sitting at 2365/1325 because of the lost chests. It's like my house didn't even exist or something. I did read in the patch notes that they fixed the house losing issue in Cutlass Keys, so maybe it had repercussions in the houses in other regions?
Also, I'm not the only one. I've already seen about 6 guys in global chat in my server saying they lost their houses. I can assume other servers have similar complaints as well.
Not only this, but I cancelled all my orders on the Trading Posts so I could finally transfer servers and guess what… Can't transfer because apparently I still have active buy/sell orders when it clearly says 0. One day I will be reunited with my friends…one day
