Yeah i just got this on the switch and im enjoying it so far devs know how ro make this game satisfying
'Don't look a gift horse in the mouth' basically means don't judge a gift. You can tell a horse's age by its teeth, and looking it in the mouth would be gauging its age.
One would look a horse in the mouth to examine its teeth, which can tell you how old it is and how well it's been cared for. If someone gives you a horse, it would be rude for you to check its quality in front of them.
Wooo!
this game was the best evolution system of all bullet heaven I play so far
I still have this installed and haven't played it past launch. I may come back to it, but, a favorite meme comfort game, Craftopia just got a "Seamless World" update where, apparently, it's not just jumping from map to map and I want to see how much of a trainwreck it is. (or if it's actually better for the matter ?)
This game is actually pretty fun, I remember doing 100% achievement on this before the update.
It has a lot of systems (Features as they are called) like boosting stats by picking the same element 2 times (basically comboing Trinkets), alternative characters…
The dev team also listened to a lot of the feedback regarding UI, game speed, controls.
Btw, the Forest boss is a Summoner, so she stays at range and summons those plant monsters to attack, which is why she backs away when you get into melee range.
If anyone is wondering whether to buy or not, I'd say give it a go, it's a good quality bullet heaven for sure.
Wow u dont even try to do AAA releases anymore… Such a shame, you used to be one of my favorite youtubers but indie is not my thing
Looks like soulstone survivors, which was visually nice and mechanically boring.
Well the poorly socialized thing might be universal for animal, just look at humans :b
Would love to see more of this Game ๐
I recently have gone through the same thing with the drowsiness when playing Halls of Torment. And was thinking the same thing with the art style just making my sleepy no matter how much fun I am having.
Nope you didn't run out of time on the 3rd run your energy bolt missile attack killed the boss.
the bluring at the edges of the screen bothers me maybe that's whats affecting you too?
What makes this game hard for you to look at? Do all the textures and graphics just blend into each other too much? Or general colorfulness? I'm curious. Also would like to hear if you have any ideas on what'd have to change to make it easier for you. Not like I'm the dev of this game, just good food for thought.
Glad to see you finally come back to this.
Unlocked everything. Boy that was difficult!!
Neat graphics, but it feels like the game would be more fun if it was about 30% faster.
Wow how odd, just from the splash art, the characters in this game look like they were absolutely based off the characters from Dungeon Defenders… I wonder if that's actually the case or it's a coincidence
Pretty sure in all Bullet hell/heaven games luck almost always affects item drops (attract, freeze, bomb etc.)
Sometimes it does maybe affect how much stuff the boss chests drop, but usually itโs just item drops
When you said how something about the games coloring or look was making you drowsy it explained a lot. I watched that part after already falling asleep to it๐
The artstyle reminds me of Dungeon Defender for some reason. Especially the menu art.
This game is amazing! SO much to unlock. You can tell the devs put a lot of love in it
The gains over the last months of EA were pretty immense—though it also very much became a more complex, intentional sort of game where the benefits of knowing interactions and systems skyrocketed.
that purple red background is what is making u drowsy…. it was doing the same thing to me
seen the artwork and thought you were playing dungeon defenders
I think the phrase "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" probably relates to being suspicious of a gift unnecessarily. It most likely stems from how rude it would be to be presented with a horse but instead of accepting it, you instead start inspecting it for something wrong, like having bad teeth (in the mouth). The action displays a lack of trust and indicates you do not trust the person who just gave you this gift (the horse), which is likely very expensive (horses are rather expensive, and were more so historically).
I'm very late, but you didn't run out of time in that last run. You shot one of those energy bolts off screen and killed the boss.
