On the afternoon of 4-4-23, a very large supercell matured as it crossed into Illinois. Just before it reached Table Grove, IL, a tornado touched down. As the tornado entered town, damage was reported. Hail the size of baseballs flew around, damaging multiple vehicles. This cyclic supercell produced tornado after tornado until around Pekin, IL. Unknown injuries or extent of damage so far.

  1. That tornado that struck the Northside of Lewistown is about 3 miles Northwest of where my wife and I used to stay in a small campground on Route 24 East of Lewistown. Didn't hear of any in serious injuries or fatalities however I hope the people there appreciate the storm shelter that I purchased that would accommodate about 12 to 13 people.

  2. Growing up the only Tornado I remember was the Wizard of Oz. I was happy to live in Canada. Today April 5, 2023 school buses canceled winds. Weather effects from the storms. We are getting freezing rain and wind. This is not a movie this is real life. Prayers for all to have the strength to cope. 🙏🙏🙏

  3. The silence in the beginning of this video is ironic. The storm is a beautiful sight FROM A FAR, but when it's over populated areas ,it's gotta be the most frightening thing ever. Thx guys.

  4. It was worrying hearing chasers on other videos via radio asking how to escape and what roads to take..
Rule no.1 always have safe escape options and be familiar with the surroundings.

    Great video though.
