Its a complete lack of judgement from the quick look at it to have anyone who i presume posts videos in your usual youtube style to be flagged as any form of SelfPromo,
Thereby if its not flooded with the usual "Like and subscribe" or "spammy amounts" of any form of posts then it is clear as day that they are not actually caring for anything comunity related.
A good gaming comunity should always exist of partially people sending messages with video's (either from themselves or others) that might include some promotion to the content of the game(s) topic.
Least it does not harm anyone ofc such as Nsfw posts of a game that is generally accessible to minors included.

Fully agree with the comments section here for as far down as i read them, They just have gotten them selves in over their heads with the assumption that they are some kind of authority.

So I just left the subreddit because after reading the rules I discovered that one of them is "speak English only" which is just one of the most karen thing to say and as a person who only speaks English I was offended. I mean if you want to display something you built on minecraft what difference does it make what language your captions are in?
I spent lot of money and time one this shit just to get banned without any reason, thanks to ##klien_tools ☝️☝️☝️for helping me get back my banned account
The fact they thought that a memorial post is done only for karma really shows that these mods themselves kare more about karma than memorials like this.
